How well did Shawn/HHH and Hall/Nash/Waltman get along during the Wars? Were they all still close friends or was there a strain?

I don't know about Hunter but I don't think there was bad blood or anything and Shawn was real close to them. He got photographed in nWo and Outsiders stuff a few times and talk to them about getting work in WCW if he left WWE. officialfan.proboards.com/thread/311186?page=2 - Some talk on Shawn wanting to join Hall and Nash in WCW.

Every member of the Kliq still got along. Nash and Hall regularly made mentions about them during Nitro and Trips and Pac did the same during Raw. I remember it was a big deal when HBK married Whisper in the midst of the War. Nash was the person who hooked them up.

If there was any friction in the Kliq, it would have probably been in around 2001, where HBK was at his worst and most embarrassing with addiction. I can't imagine Triple H liked his friend making an ass of him when they had to send him home when he was going to actually return, but he was entirely too high to send out there. Think like Jeff Hardy and TNA, if TNA had a shred of moral decency or self preservation and dismissed Jeff instead of sending him out to face Sting.
That said, that's speculation on my part.

Shawn says in the post screw job promo that he sent Bret "down south with the other dinosaurs. And the men down there who aren't dinosaurs are my friends and they're gonna beat the hell out of you!" Or something to that degree.
Waltman even went as far as to mention Hall and Nash by name in his Xpac debut promo.
And if you're looking for it, all of them are flashing the Kliq sign left and right in both companies.
