Amazing. They realize they're going to probably get killed next week in the ratings and they don't even attempt to advertise anything on Raw this week.
Sure, they could do it on Smackdown, but I suspect that won't be nearly as effective.

After that episode of Raw, I don't think anything close to logic or reason was going on in anyone's head.

Corporate Kane in 2015 was all the reasoning I needed to know that WWE was bafflingly stupid

They'll just have Kane come out at the start of the show next Monday and say "Oh I forgot to mention last week that Brock Lesnar and Daniel Bryan are here tonight. Sorry that I didn't give you guys the heads up a week ago."

After that episode of Raw, I don't think anything close to logic or reason was going on in anyone's head. Maybe the logic was not to taint Brock or Bryan by associating them with that episode of Raw, even in advertising form.

They like Lesnar's appearances to be a "surprise".

They may want them to be surprises in terms of appearance.

They may want them to be surprises in terms of appearance. The problem with that theory though is that next week is supposed to be a tough week as it is. Wouldn't you think they'd want to try and soften the blow a little by advertising that two of their biggest stars, or even just one of them, is going to be present on the show to try and attract some extra eyeballs? Would they rather not even attempt such a thing just so they "surprise" the people that decide to watch? Considering they've been taking a hit the past few weeks as it is, wouldn't they want to try and do something to slow the decline?

Here is why they didn't advertise. They know that neither bryan nor lesnar are going to do a damn thing for ratings. So instead of advertising two big name returns that will have still lukewarm ratings they won't mention it and neither guy would come under classic does or doesn't draw scrutiny....

Ugh.
You know I've watched consistently since I was a kid but this is the first time it's feeling very very chore-like. Gosh...and I survived the Katie Vick Raw...

Sure, they could do it on Smackdown, but I suspect that won't be nearly as effective. They shouldn't do a RAW show next week instead they should show Vince's three most favorite episodes of Bonanza.

If it's not Cena (or a big part timer) it doesn't matter.
