Even though they were the villains, one little thing that I really liked in the show was the relationship between Fisk and Wesley. It was much more than the typical boss/henchman dynamic as it was clear that they were both genuinely concerned for the wellbeing of the other. Wesley was straight up my favorite character. He was fantastic. Gotta agree. I'd say he was my favourite too. {Spoiler} Boy, was I disappointed to see him get killed. Elaena was sad. Ben seemed inevitable. But Wesley, man, Wesley would be the one I'd take back if I could.

The scene where Fisk is going through Wesley's phone next to his dead body, while holding Wesley's hand, is so touching.
It's like Roose and Ramsey Bolton on Game of Thrones. I hate them so much, but when Roose proclaimed Ramsey his true son I was legit happy for them.

Yeah, I wonder what's going on with the Defenders now... as I'm assuming the story is already setup for them.
Will they just say screw it and have another 3 next year or is one getting pushed back.

So thankful we don't have to wait two years for the next season. One whole year is plenty.

The only slight criticism that I have for the show is about the suit. Not the actual costume, it looks perfectly fine, but I don't like that Daredevil is now bulletproof in-story. One of the reason why Daredevil and Spider-Man were always my favorite superheroes is that they have such dynamic costumes, even if you can't see their faces through the masks you can have them selling for the bad guy just by showing their costumes getting cut and torn up.

Only parts of the suit are bullet proof. the rest of it might stop a knife ... maybe... depending on the angle. I wouldn't be surprised if that it gets ripped ... depending on if they get the budget to make a bunch of suits that can be ripped up.

Finally saw the season finale last night. Seeing him finally put on the costume and take down Kingpin was great. That fight sequence was awesome, all the fight scenes in this series were well directed. I can't wait to see what happens next season. Would love to see a Punisher series like this.

Really really great show, loved this season, can't wait for more. Great to finally see DD get some justice on screen.
Agreed a Punisher series could be really great, but man it'd be uniquely challenging and different if faithful to the character. Unlike Daredevil or even say Dexter, who had a family and secret identity of sorts, Punisher would have much less of the relationships and normal stuff that is the bread and butter of TV writing.
A show just about a driven killing machine on a personal war would be unlike anything else on TV. Here's hoping they don't make it an origin story if they do a Punisher show, pick it up a few years into his vigilante career with a few brief flashbacks.

I say have the Punisher show up in the 2nd or 3rd season of Daredevil. It'd be a great way to reintroduce the character into a darker setting. One of the bad things about it is you know questions of "Where was he during the Chitauri Invasion?" and "Where was he when Daredevil was nearly killed by Naboo(spelling?)", and "Where was he when children were being kidnapped in Daredevil?"

The first episode bored me a bit, and I almost gave up on the series because of it. But since about halfway through episode 2 (im about to watch #5 now) it's been firing on all cylinders.
Glad I stuck with it!
