Please Russo brothers, Daredevil really deserves to be in Infinity war. At least a shout out to the work Charlie Cox has been doing. {Spoiler}Charlie Cox and Chloe Bennett have stated that it's written into their contracts that they have to be available to appear in the movies if they're required, something which I imagine is standard in most (if not all) of the MCTVU contracts. Given that the Russos recently confirmed that 68 characters will feature across both parts of Infinity War, and that secondary characters feature heavily, I will be astounded if some of the characters from Netflix shows and Agents of SHIELD don't appear in some form or another.

Oh! Reading AVClub and there maybe a so subtle reference to Agents of Shield: {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}When Punisher breaks the frame he takes out a CD that has "MICRO" written on it. Micro was a member of Rising Tide. Rising Tide is a conspiracy hacktivist group that exposed S.H.I.E.L.D. to the world in the aftermath of the Battle of New York. Skye (Daisy) said Micro was a member of the group. There's also a not so subtle AoS Easter egg at the New York Bulletin offices: notice one of the front pages displayed on the wall has the headline "Cybertek Settles". Cybertek (and its owner, Leo Quinn) were an integral part of HYDRA's Project Centipede, supplying the tech for the Deathlok program. EDIT: Now that I think about it, that's actually an Easter egg in more ways than one. In Agents of S.H.E.I.L.D., Cybertek's technology plays a major part in keeping John Garrett alive. John Garrett first debuted in Elektra's solo comic, and Elektra made her MCU debut in this season of Daredevil.

Finished episode 7, and no spoilers, but is anyone else bored of most of the fight scenes?
Daredevil keeps going up against generic henchmen, and in 99% of the cases he's in no danger at all. He beats up a couple of people (it's a good thing that hitting someone over the head with a steel pipe never ever runs the risk of resulting in their death, otherwise his talk about the Punisher would be hypocritical), and when the bad guys backup arrive you figure that he would get away or trick them or something, but no, just even more of the generic fighting. Since nothing plot-related ever seems to happen in the fights (he gets hit on a particular body part, or grabs some clue from an opponent) you can just skip the fights and still follow along the story.
It would've helped if there at least was some Bond villain henchmen type who had a personality or unique gimmick.

Goddamn, Punisher is badass in this season. I hardly ever re-watch shows, but I might just re-watch this season for Punisher.
Was it confirmed he's getting a spinoff or is it still just a rumor? Because it should be confirmed already. Like...written in blood from Punisher's victims!

Because it should be confirmed already. Like...written in blood from Punisher's victims! As of right now, it's not officially in the works but I'd be shocked if it doesn't happen in the near future. Timing is the big issue, as the only want to do 2 seasons of Netflix shows a year, this year being Daredevil S02 and Luke Cage S01 debuting in September. Next year will likely be Iron Fist S01 in the Spring and Jessica Jones S02 in the fall plus they still need to do The Defenders after that. All that likely has to happen before they even start talking about Daredevil S03, Luke Cage S02, Iron Fist S02 or The Punisher

Random easter egg type thing:
The Frenchman was Jacques Duchamp. Moon Knight's sidekick is Jean-Paul "Frenchie" Duchamp. Doubt it's a coincidence.

I was totally in from episode 3 on. Punisher and Elektra really made everything work for me, as differing sides of morality for Daredevil to play off of and great characters in their own right.

Finally finished forty minutes ago. {Spoiler}{Spoiler} The entire season was great! I don't think every episode has to be the length of Game of Thrones as some scenes could have been deleted, but this season was amazing overall.
I loved both Elektra and Punisher's arcs. Seeing Matt struggle constantly with debating Foggy after arguing similarly with Punisher was a good contrast. And more interesting was him wrestling over leaving everything behind to stay with Elektra.
Obviously she'll be back at some point. I loved Elodie Yung. She's a fine addition though I imagine she won't be back for a long while.
With Kingpin still and jail and Nobu finally ended by Stick, Bullseye has to be the main villain for Season Three. No one else would be more fitting, even though I still don't know whom all of Daredevil's Rogues Gallery are.
A little disappointed that Nelson and Murdock was dissolved. Obviously, Foggy and Matt will make up at some point but I think their firm should have lasted a couple more seasons. It just doesn't have as much emotional impact having them close their business so soon.
I don't know what Matt will be doing, but at least he finally let Karen in by telling her his secret finally. S3 can't get here soon enough!

Marvel and Netflix both seem pretty keen on getting that done as soon as Iron Fist is done. I also wouldn't be surprised if they just do a Heros for Hire series with Luke and Iron Fist after their first seasons. As for The Punisher Netflix and Marvel would be stupid as hell to not atleast give him a 6 episode mini-series or something.

Daredevil S1 also kind of implied that Matt Murdock grew up in the same orphanage that Skye/Daisy may have stayed in. Not sure if that's confirmed.

Let me join in the "just finished watching" club.
I can see what people like and dislike about this season, but I can't complain at all. I enjoyed it that much.
And yes The Punisher put in that motherf***ing work.

I'm through Episode 6, I've been binge watching this show since Thursday. Season 2 is definitely different than Season 1, there's a lot of stuff going on, different arcs and I feel like something is off. It's all interconnected somehow, but its doing a poor job of connecting them if that makes sense. At least with Season 1, everything led to Fisk. You can tell the further he fell in love, the quicker things around him went to shit, got sloppy, etc. It was a point they kept going back to several times. Maybe the 2nd half of the season picks up but so far I think Season 1 is superior. Also. {Spoiler}Ben Urich dying, as of now, makes no sense. Don't even think it was necessary.

OK, just thinking out loud here. As I'm wont to do, I like to picture Marvel as one big interconnected tapestry, which means a LONG marathon and timeline.
Up until now, in my head, I had it in viewing order as follows:
Iron Man Iron Man 2 A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Thor's Hammer Thor Incredible Hulk The Consultant Captain America: First Avenger Agent Carter Seasons 1 and 2 Avengers Item 47 Daredevil Season 1 Jessica Jones Season 1 Iron Man 3 Agents of SHIELD Season 1 intercut with Thor: The Dark World, Guardians of the Galaxy and Captain America: The Winter Soldier
There's more, of course, but we want to keep this from becoming TL, DR.
So, Daredevil Season 2 is a problem for timeline placement. We have it "a couple of months" after the first season and ending around Christmas. Would work great leading into Iron Man 3 except we have a newspaper headline that mentions the fall of Cybertek, which happens in the first season of SHIELD.
So the thought is have Daredevil season 2 after SHIELD season 1, but it's a lot of material in between. Plus, you'd think what happens in Winter Soldier would warrant a headline or mention, just to justify why vigilantism in NYC is being more or less permitted.
Thoughts from my fellow geeks?

I've heard it starts at summer 2015 and ends in December 2015, so I personally place it right before the first half of SHIELD season 3A.

IIRC, Season 1 of Daredevil takes place before Age of Ultron, Jessica Jones takes place after that (all in 2015)

Not trying to be difficult, just would like to know the evidence. onthe first season of daredevil you can see hint sin backgrounds, such as newspapers pages about the battle of Avengers 1. Which suggests is soon after that. Jessica Jones a woman mention the big event from Age of Ultron.
