This week, I finally started watching the series. I breezed through Season 1 and I'm almost done with Season 2. But my question is, was I supposed to watch Jessica Jones before Season 2? Or does it not matter?

Or does it not matter? There's a character who shows up in the very last episode who's pretty significant to Jessica Jones, but you can mostly get away without it. It does ADD to the universe, but Daredevil doesn't suffer if you don't watch it. Also regarding the possible Agents of Shield shoutout: {Spoiler}Micro is also the name of Castle's quartermaster and tech guru.

Just finished season 2. Time to watch Jessica Jones.
As far as Karen goes, she's okay in general but suffers from a cliche I dislike. That being the supporting character who tries to play hero detective while being condescending toward a "useless" or "undependable" friend\relative who is secretly the hero and star of the show. The best example is Debra on "Dexter."

season 2 wasn't quite as good as season 1. It was still pretty great, but the thing it lacked was the tight focus of the first season. Without Wilson Fisk as a singular threat, it suffered a bit. The Punisher parts were great, the Elektra and the Hand stuff less so, and the two disparate plotlines didn't quite jell together. Still really good though, and looking forward to sesaon 3.

After watching this season I was wanting Matt and Elektra being together. Don't think Marvel wanted me too

In hindsight, I think they handled Fisk well. As much as I liked his character, they had to introduce other villains. But at the same time, they used him just enough to remind us he's around and that he's still a piece of shit who is now building an empire inside prison. As for relationships, they really went out of their way in Season 1 to pair up Foggy and Karen. So it really seemed like a huge swerve for her to go with Matt.

Oh for sure. Him appearing again was a highlight. I just mean that season 1 had a singular story that 2 kind of lacked. The two it had were fine, they just didn't really fit together very well.

The schedule Marvel is on for their Netflix shows is beyond confusing. Nothing past Luke Cage is set in stone but everyone keeps saying The Defenders has to shoot at a certain point. They just announced the lead for Iron Fist, so is that taking the place of Daredevil next Spring? What happens to Jessica Jones Season 2 then if the Defenders comes on in Fall 2017?

Daredevil's second season kinda screwed it all up. The initial plan was to have one season of each show, then do Defenders, but because Daredevil's first season was so well-received they rushed a second into production to capitalise on it. Everything else just got pushed back.

Someone's going to get the shaft and not have another season for a couple of years. Unless they do Defenders during the summer in between two shows.

Give me Bullseye or give me death. Or hell, I'll even take Lady Bullseye at this point.

Probably a good chance of Bullseye happening this season, since he was supposed to be in last season, before the Statham casting rumors leaked and The Punisher was added.
