I still don't get why they have to dub over "Don't Go Messin' With A Country Boy". WWE doesn't own the right's to the song's publishing. There's two ways to own a song: 1) The Master Recording 2) The Publishing (lyrics & music) You have to get permission from BOTH the parties who own the master and the parties who own the publishing to use a song in media. When putting together The Wrestling Album in the 80s, WWE hired professional songwriters to write songs for the wrestlers. While WWE owns the master, the publishing is still owned by the three songwriters who were commissioned because nobody was really thinking about publishing then and "we'll let you retain the publishing rights" was an all-too-common way to sweeten the deal inthese sorts of negotiations. Because of how licensing was in the 80s, WWE didn't secure the usage rights in-perpetuity, meaning DVDs weren't a part of the original agreement. Same going for on-demand streaming services as they didn't exist yet. Given how royalties from publishing is how songwriters make their money, WWE would have to pay the writers any time "Don't Go Messin With a Country Boy" was used.

I don't think this is like this on the WWE Network, but on one of the Classics on Demand airings of the final Clash of the Champions, Raven had his Come As You Are theme.
That's not weird, you say? That's because he didn't have theme music at all when he first came into WCW. Talk about a really pointless edit.

I just watched some of Royal Rumble 2002, it's nice to see that Edge has his Rob Zombie theme. I had the Home Video release of this and they dubbed in "You Think You Know Me" which always bugged me. I still don't get why they have to dub over "Don't Go Messin' With A Country Boy". It's left intact on WrestleMania 17
