I'm seven episodes into season one, and it just seems like a whole bunch of nothing really happening in between scenes of Claire Danes with her eyes bugging out of her head like she just walked into a haunted house.
Seems like a way less interesting version of '24'

If you're not liking Season One, you might as well give up now.
Because only the past season (season 4) is in the same league.

Yeah season one is by far and away the best the series has had. First half of season two as well, but imo it nosedives in quality after that.
But if you're not into season one, save yourself the time and quit while you're ahead.

Season 3 is where they start to lose the plot, so to speak.

I liked season 1 and 2 but 3 sucked and didn't bother with 4.

Yeah, season 1 is the best. I do wish Showtime didn't make them change the ending though.

It flies from being really good to unwatchable more than any show I've ever seen. And season one is no different.
There is a lot to enjoy (most of season 4 actually), but you'll have to put up with some shite (the episode in the tower block).

I had given up on this show, but I kept hearing good things about season 4. I gave it a shot and I'm glad I did. Much improved. And Peter Quinn is a bad ass.

I've never been able to get into it. For some reason I can never see Damien Lewis in anything and not find it strange he's not playing Richard Winters.

Season 2 had some nice twists, but Brody's daughter and Carrie's overacting ruined the show for me.

I appreciate Homeland and understand why it get's so much critical acclaim, but I have never felt compelled to catch up after I missed a couple of episodes after the season 2 finale. It just comes across a bit bland at times in my book, in presentation and script. I like it, but I think there are much (much) better things out there currently on American Television.

Yeah, it stumbles really badly on seasons 2 & 3, but having just finished Season 4 last night, f***ing hell. That was like having sex whilst camping, because it was f***ing intense.

Clare Danes is really the worst part of this show. I'm just not a fan, I guess.
