I know this shows my age....but I'm going with Tecmo Bowl, in particular Super Tecmo Bowl for the NES. I know I wasted more time from my senior year in HS and freshman year in college playing that game with friends.

Madden, it set the pace for sports video games to be as realistic as possible as they are presented on television.

NBA 2K and NFL 2K are tied. Too bad EA had to be a bitch and get the rights to NFL games, so NFL 2K is dead for now.

I about voted for Tony Hawk, but I got to go with my all time favorite franchise, EA's NCAA football. I like college ball a lot better than pro, so my video game preferences are the same.

ESPN NFL 2K series. It did football(American) RIGHT. Madden is boring, and overall the same crap over and over. To futher prove the 2K series was better than Madden.....Madden 2006 took some of the gameplay aspects from ESPN NFL 2K5! Bingo! I voted the same way.

Allthough some might think I'm crazy, I voted for Tiger Woods. It was a tough call between that and NCAA Football, But the analog swing, and character customization is just way too good.

Madden, with NBA Live close behind. Those are the two I play and buy most regularly.
Im pretty much an EA Sports only guy when it comes to sports games. Ive played the EA titles since back in the SNES days. Ive never cared for the 2K series, never liked gameplay or anthing much for some reason.
I was pissed this year when there was no MVP Baseball. I hate MLB 2K whatevers. So i just got EA's new College Baseball game instead.

Though I did say Madden, ESPN 2k5 did blow Madden outta the water for thirty bucks cheaper that year.. sadly that won't happen again.

Gotta go with Mutant League here. There's a market for Robot and Alien games and there's a market for football games and it's too bad the developers believe the two to be mutually exclusive. The series died way too young.

Well two things; 1) The gameplay that you seem to not care for in the 2K football games are slowly being mixed into your beloved Madden games..... 2) Take Two bought the rights to the MLB, just like EA bought the rights to NFL. I will admit, I DO want Madden 07 for the Nintendo Wii....

QFT - in Champ Man' 1994 I used to be able to win the league in 4 years with any bottom division team. I was a damned genius.

I'm not that big into sports games, so Mutant League gets my vote.
