Inspired by the WATCHING RUMBLES IN REVERSE thread, I did all this on another forum, but thought it'd be cool to share here, too. Basically this is what would happen if you flipped the entrants of the rumbles (#30 is now #1, #29 now #2, etc) and the results of those rumbles. The winning spots remain the same; 2004 winner is still #1, 2007 is still #30, etc. Runners-up, too.
1988: Sam Houston eliminates Tito Santana to win.
1989: Mr. Perfect eliminates Ax to win.
1990: Roddy Piper eliminates Ted DiBiase to win.
1991: Saba Simba eliminates Jake Roberts to win.
1992: Sgt. Slaughter eliminates Ted DiBiase to win the WWF Championship.
1993: Ted DiBiase eliminates Ric Flair to win; faces Bret Hart at WMIX.
1994: Bob Backlund and Kwang co-win the Rumble; both get title matches (with Yokozuna in the mix) at WMX.
1995: Crush eliminates Fatu to win; faces Diesel at WMXI.
1996: Vader eliminates Yokozuna to win; faces Bret Hart at WMXII.
1997: Mankind eliminates The Sultan to win; if no Final 4 Controversy, faces Sid at WM13.
1998: 8-Ball eliminates Faarooq to win; faces Shawn Michaels at WMXIV.
1999: Owen Hart eliminates Chyna to win; if no Valentine's Massacre, faces The Rock at WMXV.
2000: Steve Blackman eliminates Rikishi to win; if no Big Show-esque controversy, faces Triple H at WM2000.
2001: Faarooq eliminates The Undertaker to win; faces The Rock at WMX-Seven.
2002: Matt Hardy eliminates Lance Storm to win; faces Chris Jericho at WMX8.
2003: Chris Jericho eliminates Shawn Michaels to win; faces Triple H or Kurt Angle at WMXIX.
2004: Goldberg eliminates Matt Hardy to win; faces either Triple H or Eddie Guerrero at WMXX.
