Finally got my hands on the whole series today (so far), this morning I tore through the first four issues, which was the Money In The Bank story about Titan City. I will be honest, there was nothing groundbreaking or genre defining about it, and the art was weak, but it was a very fun comic, and was looking forward to the next storyline to see what happened in this parallel WWE Universe next.
Later on this afternoon, I tried to read the next issue but it has nothing to do with that world or story. Instead it was some wonky story about Punk and Bryan ruining Raw and getting fired. I thought it sucked to say the least.
Does anyone know why the book went in this direction or if we will see a return to the Titan City stuff? It was legit entertaining to me, and I want to know if Cena takes Trips up on the offer.

They seem to be doing differing arcs. Right now is some bizarre story arc with current WWE superstars and legends fighting in virtual reality simulations.

Yeah, I'm just wondering if the current type stuff is "filler" before getting back to the Titan City stuff, or if it will always just be rotating arcs that are unconnected? Because if that's what it will be like I'm not really interested in trying to get new issues. Probably could have made that clearer in the op.

Thanks, I know not to waste my time and money on this then. Issues 6-10 were pretty much unreadable for me despite also being written by Foley.

Sorry to bump an old thread but I'm wondering if the comic is still going. I've been to most of the comic book stores here in town and none of them have any issues past issue #12 (the one with Undertaker on the cover).

The Titan City story was probably the most interesting adaptation of a wrestling show ever. Usually the knee jerk creative process is "okay, make 'em superheroes/legendary warriors", but no...Foley said "It's gonna be a noir story in the big city." And it actually worked...kind of.

Bump since I'm curious about the latest issue (ending the current storyline) and what's up with that.

Instead it was some wonky story about Punk and Bryan ruining Raw and getting fired. Damn it, I thought they said they were no longer using ideas submitted by Kevin Dunn?
