Just making the thread early since it's obvious this is going to be a hell of a game-changer of an episode. Considering how many plot threads were dangling at the end of Season 5, and just everything in that extended trailer alone, it's clear some shit is going to go down and I'm positive a number of characters aren't making it back to Earth in one piece. Also helps that I'm pretty certain that almost every recurring character in the entire series is in that trailer.
Any guesses on what's likely to go down or who's going to bite it? For some reason I'm worried for Shore Leave and Sgt. Hatred because you know that if they're going to kill off anybody, it's not going to be just some minor background dude like the OSI/SPHINX doc. That being said though I'm willing to bet that the Guild especially is going to take a lot of casualties since this all seems to be leading to a reckoning for the GCI between Phantom Limb's side and OSI. Either way, it's going to be a long wait until the episode shows up on iTunes tomorrow.

Yes, finally. I noticed a couple of months ago that it's actually been so long since there was a new episode of Venture Bros. that my DVR removed it from the list of shows it's supposed to record. I so can't wait.
As for who dies, I can't see them killing Shore Leave. He's just way too popular with the fan base right now. As for Sgt. Hatred, well I'll just say it wouldn't surprise me if they felt they've done everything they can with the character.

It's actually on Tuesday at 12:00am. First thing I did when I saw this was scroll thru the TV guide..........and it took me well beyond late tonight/early tomorrow. So if you're hoping to see it in........3.5 hours, tack another 24 onto that wait. That said, I've been grumpy ever since that I have to wait more than 24 hours.

That was Thirty One different flavors of awesome sauce and then some. I love how this show can juggle multiple plot lines and story arcs and still have them flow together very seamlessly and finally wrapping a ton of dangling plot lines from the last couple of seasons while setting the table for new story arcs and continuing the ones left unsolved. I can't wait for season 6 where we'll get to see: {Spoiler} Rusty most likely run his brother's legacy into the ground and hopefully given the New York setting they'll bring back Nathan Fillion as Brown Widow.)

Holy...Shit. I'm just going to try to start a possible death list to wrap my head around everything that happened. {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler} 1. JJ 2. Tracester 3. Zero 4. 8 of the Councilman ( I think) 5. Zero 6. David Bowie 6. The The Investors
That's a lot of stuff and I bet I missed some. I CAN NOT wait for the next one. {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}Pretty much every facet of the Venture universe is completely gone. And it didn't quite sound like it to me, but Stephen Colbert's return as Dr. Impossible is cool. Hopefully he sticks around. And the song the Captain plays and eveyone humming. God damn I love this show.

This show never fails to amaze. Never. Holy...Shit. Zero 4. 8 of the Councilman ( I think) 5. Zero 6. David Bowie 6. The The Investors
{Spoiler}{Spoiler}Kevin & Tim Tom are confirmed dead, though technically it happened last season when Hatred destroyed the cocoon. Curious what happened to Underbeit and Fat Chance. Sad that Bill Hader didn't come back - he was the replacement Impossible (VERY surprised Colbert came back, though I suspect this may be the last of him due to the Late Show gig) as well as Phileas Phage (voiced by someone else here), Headshot and a couple others. Can't wait to see the new changes for Season 6 now. {Spoiler}{Spoiler}Hope Orpheus, Billy & White all make the trip to NYC too....... And goddamn, I'm gonna miss that Compound.

God damn I love this show. I don't know for sure that we can count Treister out. He was a Hulk at the time, so surviving a nuclear explosion might be child's play. I would not be entirely shocked if he wound up as a new member of the Council. I sort of hope Zero isn't dead. They don't have to explain how he survives. In fact, I would rather not know. Just have him come back and arch both Brock and 21. I am glad The Investors are gone. They were a bit of a plot device that there was no real way around. As far as predictions go, I imagine that Rusty will actually become somewhat competent now that Dean seems to be something of an inspiration for him and that he has become more accepting of his role in the Venture legacy. Granted, him making the force field for Gargantua-2 isn't that big of a surprise since he made a working one some time ago, but he went right to work and fixed it without major problems. I expect that Hank, Dean, and Dermot will probably start going to college this season. I expect the Council might be Dr. Mrs. The Monarch, Phantom Limb, Red Mantle, Dragoon (or does he count?), Dr. Z, Dr. Phineas Phage, Ward, Watch, Treister, Baron Underbheit, Sgt. Hatred (who probably will need a new job yet again), Professor Impossible, and Torrid, but there are other that could be in it just to keep them involved in the show like Venturestein, a cracked Bud Manstrong, Myra, Radical Left, Fat Chance, another Mike Sorayama robot, the Hale Brothers (who only seem guilty of killing their overly abusive dad), The Intangible Fancy, or for shits and giggles, Action Johnny.

I mean, there's still all the rest of the Guild villains we saw at Don Hell's or in background scenes. {Spoiler}{Spoiler}The only Guild peeps that we know are very definitely dead are the Council members. Hell, even the Sovereign, that could've just been some random eagle. Be a hell of a red herring, but it doesn't make sense that he would stick around that long to see his hideout explode especially with a big OSI presence.
Heck, I wouldn't even say that the Investors are dead for good, keeping in mind that they implied that they were immortal and either vampiric, demonic, or both, and the last scene when the Monarch's crew and Watch & Ward walk in on Killinger and them, it's pretty much showing that their battle was all in their minds a la Scanners vs an actual physical duel, both from how the room is undamaged and how the two defeated Investors are simply collapsed on the floor rather than bisected and crushed.
If anything, they have a stronger argument for survival than, say, Don Hell, who had probably the most cringeworthy, painful-looking death this episode.

I need to rewatch the episode. It was mind blowing but I feel like the comedy will hit me better if I don't need to pay attention to all the plot
