He's dressed up as Sin Cara before. Sin Cara, after months of floundering and doing nothing on non Raw/Smackdown shows, just showed up on television a couple of times and actually won a match. I want WWE to go full Dean Malenko in WCW with this. Let this be how he gets reinstated.
In a perfect world, Rollins wins the WWE Title and the Rumble comes down to Reigns and Zig Cara. Rollins screws over Reigns thinking he gets an easy match at Wrestlemania only for Ziggler to unmask and superkick/Zig Zag him. Philly may like that. Hell make their match at Wrestlemania an Iron Man Match and you have the next great rivalry.

Liked it until the Iron Man match suggestion. Better to have a two out of three falls match, imo, or a 30 minute Iron Man match a la Ricky Steamboat and Rick Rude in WCW. I can't see a 60 minute match going over well at Wrestlemania these days.

I'd take that and agree that even with 4 hours, they aren't going to devote a quarter of that to two guys that aren't even established draws yet. More than satisfied with the 30 minute variety. They could tell an awesome story and have plenty of time to show what they can do.

30 minute Iron Man match is up there with the reverse battle royale for stupid rules. Most main event matches go over 20 minutes anyway, so suddenly getting several falls in 30 minutes looks as bad as when main eventers randomly fall victim to a body slam during Survivor Series matches.

It's only stupid in execution if it ends up being like 5-4 or something like that. Having Ziggler win in about 22 minutes and be up a fall and then have to weather punishment from Rollins and shenanigans to hold on to the win for 8 minutes is good story telling. As is having Rollins win in about 25 minutes only for a desperate Ziggler to hit Rollins with everything he has to tie it at the last minute only for Rollins to try and chickenshit his way out of overtime.

I'd just have a one fall match instead. I'd prefer an Iron Man to be an hour and give the chance for strategy to be used. Lesnar and Angle's match where Lesnar got an intentional DQ to smash Angle with the chair and gain additional falls was great storytelling.

For this to work, Ziggler needs to do a flawless Sin Cara impression for it to work. He's too ripped, as evidenced by the last time he wore Sin Cara's gear. He doesn't have the tattoo. And I imagine he may not be able to replicate Hunico's offense to really bring it home.

Sin Cara has a huge tattoo that would be a dead giveaway

Booker T would notice the lack of the small mark on his boot and give the whole game away.

What a pointless victory that would be.

What a pointless victory that would be. If by pointless you mean helping the careers of two guys that have gotten over the right way, put on the best matches night after night, are hot right now, and the crowd actually cares about; then yes, totally pointless.

I should explain, my statement was a bad joke/wordplay on a fake Sin Cara not physically pointing as much if at all as the real Sin Cara. Ziggler winning in any fashion would be tremendous.

Not a bad joke/pun at all. Just went over my head.

Wow, that went over my head, and if I may say so that's saying something. The moment you said wordplay, it hit me. Nicely done, I should have seen that coming.
