I don't know about you, but I was ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED at the Raw panel just letting Flair and Hogan brag about their disgusting and so far unpunished cheat win at Royal Rumble '92 with PHOTOGRAPHIC EVIDENCE shown WITHOUT MENTION of any nefarious hoodwinking -  Unbelievable. It was a night of reunions and comebacks and all sorts of hullabaloo concerning the past, and I can tell you nothing would have pleased me more than THE MAN WHO RULES THE WORLD SID JUSTICE wheeling agurney bed down to ringside, asking Dallas who THE MAN is and getting face to face with those two toilets to tell them WHAT THEY DID IS BOGUS and that HE DIDN'T WANT TO DO THIS BUT WHEN RIC FLAIR AND HULK HOGAN GOT THEIR ASSES INTO THAT RING THEY MADE THEMSELVES A PART OF THE GAME. And then obviously announcing that the Millennium Man himself was tired of these Millenials making a mockery of the whole concept of being a MILLENNIUM MAN and taking out Rollins so 23 years later he can take what is his - THE WWE CHAMPIONSHIP that was cruelly snatched from him by routine cheater Hogan and INCREDIBLY BAD ROLE MODEL Ric Flair back in Albany. Hogan was bitch-made. Back at the first Survivor Series, his team lost fair and square yet he still came down to clear the ring and take advantage of an exhausted Andre with belt shots. That's some hoe shit if I've ever seen it.

If Hogan had come out and admitted that he lost his temper and wrongly acted to cost Sid the title, offered his sincerest apology, offered to shake Sid's hand to make things right between them, offered to team with him, and then have Sid blindside him in their first match as a team and leave him lying unconscious for their opponents to pin him as he left for the back, that would have made sense. What they actually did was made Hogan the unrepentant asshole who was expected to be forgiven simply because he was Hogan. The mere presumption that the fans were supposed to be that blind and mindless insulted the hell out of me and I never rooted for Hogan ever again (granted, his later grandstanding just made me despise him more and more, so it was not simply one act that forever soured me on Hogan). |
