That. Was. BEAUTIFUL. Also, correctly done on the link/embed rule. It had WWE-owned music in there, so the link is right.

That was very well done. I don't follow Nascar, but I didn't need to to enjoy that.

Should have slapped an 88 or a Lowes logo on his chest.

www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/formula1/31713292So Alonso's missing the GP Australia per medical advice regarding his concussion from testing. Any other fans here reminded of Jerry Nadeau's crash in 2003? Not in the severity of his condition, but in the sense of a rather innocuous-looking crash that turns out to be deceptively injurious to the driver? It had to be one of those cases where he hit in *just the right way* that the energy was dissipated to him instead of to the car. Unless they do eventually dig up full footage of the crash, it's gonna be hard to ever tell.

Probably for the best that he makes sure that he is absolutely right to go, I think. I wouldn't be surprised if he sits out until the European rounds start, although he'll probably be 100% by Malaysia.

Going to be a tough first half of the season for Mclaren definitely
Still having a lot of teething problems with that Honda engine.
Hopefully once we get to the European section of the season they can come good.

We now have our second Indycar aerokit unveiled for this season: www.racer.com/indycar/item/114214-indycar-honda-unveils-inspired-aero-kit-designI think I like it a little more than the Chevy kit. It at least doesn't look like it's as likely to break into pieces. Boxy, multi-element wings are the name of the game anymore in pretty much any series with developable aero, so I'm not surprised that it kind of has some F1 and LMP influences. Naturally people are still bitching because it doesn't look exactly like a 1995 Reynard, but I've long stopped being surprised by that.

I love the aero kit from Honda and yet my favorite team(Team Penske) is going to use the Chevy aero kit that was, to me, average at best. But yeah, the Honda aero kit looks awesome and I can't wait to see both of them in person when Indycar comes to Long Beach next month.

Manor F1 Team officially announced today they're good for Australia. Will Stevens is their #1 driver, #2 has yet to be named. Maybe they can borrow one from Sauber, who have ended up with 3 drivers. www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/formula1/31846217

The grid is set for tomorrow's Australian GP. It was business as usual at the front with a Mercedes 1-2, Ferrari and Williams are competing to see who is best of the rest.
Young Carlos Sainz had an impressive debut, he starts 8th, Even younger Verstappen and Nasr didn't do too badly either.
McLaren had a shocking start to the season, they start at the back due to Manor not competing this weekend even though they made it to Australia.
