MVIII should arrive for me in the next couple of days (you Americans are lucky that you normally get the DVDs a week before us Brits now)
And now this TMIV has sent me over the edge of BOLA hype
Tommaso Ciampa vs. Trevor Lee "Speedball" Mike Bailey vs. Chris Hero Ricochet vs. Akira Tozawa Young Bucks vs. Angélico & Jack Evans all look excellent. Those dives in the tag match are glorious. I admit I am a mark for any kind of dive (except for the pedestrian suicide dives) and they all look so well done.
From what I have heard/seen of MVIII and TMIV I think they could end up being high contenders for PWG Show of the Year, their main competition is the incredible Don't Sweat The Technique. And we haven't even had BOLA this year yet!

Holy shit Threemendous IV looks out of this world. And Super Dragon is pretty much the untouchable PWG final boss isn't he? Poor poor Candice ![:(](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/sad.png) He actually looks in better shape than last time. I love Mike Bailey, f*** psychology, wrestling needs a "please don't die" type of guy again. Die? I'm scared that Speedball is going to break his foot wrestling barefoot.

Bailey vs Roddy was intense.
I really didn't know what to expect, but HOLY HELL. That blew the roof off the place. Roddy is doing the work of his career.
Silver vs Cage is simultaneously hilarious and amazing.

HOLY. f***ING. SH**.
MOUNT RUSHMORE 2.0!
I don't actually know what to say right now. They murdered half of the roster and Dragon is back.
My mind is all over the place.

This was Hero's finger after his match against Zack at Mystey Vortex 3. I'll put it in a spoiler since it's pretty nasty. {Spoiler} ![](http://i1258.photobucket.com/albums/ii528/ZigglyBayBay/Mobile%20Uploads/image_zpsuf9yqym1.jpg)

The last two matches were terrific! ZSJ is ridiculously good.
The finale was all kinds of mayhem.
Ethan Page did a bang up job on commentary.
"These people are sick. 'Show of the year?'" "You're stupid if you think I'm going in there."

MVIII definitely gets my vote for PWG show of the year. DSTT is outstanding and is easily #2 show of the year but this show was more well rounded (like the X7 of PWG shows) Tommaso Ciampa vs. Johnny Gargano - An incredible opening match. The nearfalls were great, heated the crowd up perfectly for the rest of the show and it had an amazing finish. Ciampa is quickly becoming one of my favorites on the indys, I think his new theme/nickname in Psycho Killer has massively refreshed him in my book and this match shows the proof of how good he is right now. Monster Mafia vs. World's Cutest Tag Team - Possibly the worst match of the night, but by no means bad. I liked the spots and the tag work was great. Shall always be a mark for lovely Candice so I can't ever say I dislike whenever she is on my screen. Joey is Joey. Alexander had a great standoff and I like that he put over Page in his retirement. Hopefully Page finds another partner or gets a singles run in the company post BOLA, my reasoning even more so is listed below the main event. Biff Busick vs. Timothy Thatcher - A great change of pace. First time seeing Thatcher but I love his presence and his unique stance/body language. He comes across and looks like as a villain from an English 1920's set crime thriller. Highly impressed with his technical stuff and feel that I haven't seen anything yet from him. Really look forward to seeing how he does in BOLA. Biff was his usual amazing maniac self, love that guy. Roderick Strong vs. "Speedball" Mike Bailey - My god what a match! Roddy has been on a tear this past year or so (in any company you find him in) and this is no different. It's like he is coming into his prime as a worker, and I was a strong (no pun intended) supporter of his since I first saw him ROH (and his early work going back to 2003 that I saw from him once I discovered him). Roddy has consistently shown he can work with high flyers to a high level. Such astounding matches like vs Sydal in PWG ASW3 N2, vs Neville ROH FYF Tour UK, his feud that made for many entertaining matches with Jack Evans, Ricochet etc etc. Just such good matches with him throwing them around and them bumping like maniacs for him. The spots! The first pinfalls attempt that made the crowd lose their shit! etc etc an incredible incredible match. I would still rate ZSJ vs Strong above it (PWG or Evolve. Both matches are classic) and shall be really hard to beat for my indy MOTY but this puts up a great fight and is high end in the indy MOTY discussion. Brian Cage vs. John Silver - Just some good fun after such an intense battle. Suited well for a comedy match and let the crowd have a breather. John Silver man, I mouthed "what the f***" so many times in this match due to him. Guy has mad charisma as well. Perfectly suited its purpose. Chris Hero vs. Zack Sabre, Jr. - Spectacular. Brutal. Both men tried to kill each other. Crazy crazy shit. Amazing spots, submission and psychology. The hits and strikes in this match are insane. A great 1 2 punch for this card in this and Bailey/Strong both being **** and above. Andrew Everett & Trevor Lee vs. The Young Bucks - Great booking here by them. Have a hot return to get the crowd riled up after an exhausting night of incredible crowd involving matches. And make it a high flying pop frenzy mayhem match. Genius job here by Dragon/Excalibur booking this as they did, start to finish. TrEverett looks strong due to getting screwed over and have a crazy good match doing so, but it also gives MR2 all the titles. I love high flying so I probably rate this higher than most but the athleticism and moves from all 4 men are astounding and exactly what the crowd needed to end the night with for pops. Perfect formation of 2.0 as well after. Ethan Page on commentary - Get this guy back now! Even if its just for commentary. Yes Chuck might be retired ( ![:(](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/sad.png) ) and unfortunetely it doesn't look like they will take my suggestion of PWG jusst hiring him for all the events just to commentate with Excalibur, but damn it does Page have it. Easily most enjoyable guy on commentary since Taylor/Owens (head and shoulders above Ryan. I enjoy Hero on commentary but not like Owens/Taylor). I hope they get him bac if only to get him on commentary again. Highly highly recommended show. BRING ON BOLA

Just watched Vortex Hero vs. Sabre Jr. was brutal and awesome and i am begging for these two to become PWG champ at least once for Sabre and again for Hero. Roderick Strong is and has always been amazing. Brian Cage will soon pop.

Did anyone who watched DDT4 2015 feel as though it was "flat"? Don't get me wrong, the matches are good, but it's was kind of a hard to sit through show. I'm pretty sure MVIII will be better, but I may hold off on watching for it for a bit.
