I think the problem with DDT4 was a combination of some opening matches going too long, and weird finishes not really hitting their mark. You also had the Beaver Boys going from heel, to face, then back to heel again through the tournament which was kind of weird. The tournament didn't seem to have a natural flow to it when compared to past ones.

It's definitely a combination of everything you mentioned and this I think

Did anyone who watched DDT4 2015 feel as though it was "flat"? Don't get me wrong, the matches are good, but it's was kind of a hard to sit through show. I'm pretty sure MVIII will be better, but I may hold off on watching for it for a bit. Honestly, aside from DSTT, I've felt like that for quite a while with PWG. But don't sleep on MVIII. I'm not sure it's the best show I've seen in wrestling this year from a techincal standpoint, but it's by far the most fun I've had watching a show this year which makes it the best to me. I'd say it was the best standalone PWG show since Night Two of the 2013 BOLA - ironically the last time Mount Rushmore debuted.

While Angelico looks like he just concocted a sinister plan to steal the PWG Tag titles

My opinion is skewed because Im not completely caught up on EVOLVE yet and I still have a lot of the top NJPW matches from this year to watch, but Hero/ZSJ is my favorite match of 2015 thus far. So great. Roddy/ZSJ from DSTT is up there as well. ZSJ is definitely one of the best in the world atm, and I get irrationally excited every time I get a chance to see him wrestle.

While Angelico looks like he just concocted a sinister plan to steal the PWG Tag titles I'd like to think this is what is going through his head when the picture was taken... Just got Threemendous from the post office now as I was at work yesterday when they tried to deliver it. Needless to say back home and just watching it now. Great DVD design as per usual And absolutely no surprise to me by now, Candice looking gorgeous to start the show off (the usual for her). Can't wait to eventually go across the pond for PWG and knock it off my wrestling bucket list. She even replied to me on twitter the other week on how her and Jennifer Morrison were doppelgangers/crushes of mine. Can't believe we are only 8 days away from BOLA now. The hype man....the hype!!!!

Finished it, great show, not as good as MVIII (aruably also FromOONowhere also) but still a grand anniversary for them. Speedball is breaking out man. He was already on a tear after his challenge to Strong, but now having a match like against Hero and going up against Dragon. He must be one of the favorites for BOLA. Bright bright future. would love to see him have a title run. The other young guy that is just above everyone else as far as up and comers go, Trevor Lee. Don't get me wrong I like Everett but I think Lee has proven he is a step above him now and Speedball/him are the premier next gen guys as far PWG goes. And that certainly showed in this DVD. Lee I have said it before and will say it again, crowd connection, unique look/characteristics/mannerisms, dat move set, dat selling/bumping, can brawl/technical/mat work/high fly whatever you need from him he can do. Big ups to Ciampa on that match as well, who has also been on a tear these past few months. My BOLA finals hope is Will Ospreay vs Trevor Lee vs ZSJ. But I really hope Speedball goes far in the tournament as well. Ricochet/Tozawa was damn good fun. Great match as expected, was great to have Tozawa back. The brawl/attack inbetween the two mainevents was just brutal brutal stuff, in the best way possible. Just manic and the kind of atmosphere you struggle to get at other promotions, with "what the f*** is going on?!" and "oh my god they are killing them". MR2 is certainly getting heat and it is already a success in my book (just like the first). Can't wait for both 6 man tags during BOLA weekend, and hopefully we will see all 4 of them together at some point as well as Strong and Bucks N1/Dragon Bucks N2. Hopefully on night 3 we will get a 4 vs 4 match with all the members. Poor....poor Candice someone that cute/over being abliterated by Dragon, no wonder it got so much heat. Very good thinking by them to do that to give God King Final Boss Super Dragon more heat and to look even more of a monster. The main event is one of the best short'ish indy matches I have ever seen (in the same vein as the short but astounding ROH PPV match between Sydal and Cesaro years back). Going only about 15 minutes (I think most PWG main events go about 20 right?) but damn did they use every second to make it count. Would love for them to have a longer match down the road in PWG but this is more than enough for now. All of them sell and bumped each other offense perfectly (especially Angelico, I think he is an underrated seller, the guy just crumbles... We all know how good Jacks selling has been for years), despite the frenetic pace the moves all looked devastating and aesthetically pleasing. BAH GAWD KING THOSE GLORIOUS DIVES! I never realised Angelico was that big and tall when I watched LU/or his and Evans' Mexico work . Can't wait for ICMG vs Angelico and Evans during BOLA, it should be in the same vein as this match (kickass). I have always liked Jack Evans, but it so damn nice to see him now matured as a wrestler and just all around guy. To see years and years back when I first got into the indys, to what he has transformed into these past few years, it's just great to see. Hats off to the man. Bring on BOLA!

Team Tremendous got really over, I'm really happy about it, I think that based on their charisma and psychology alone they don't need to do big spots, they can do anything and still get a pop, I think they're the czw champs too. They're a breath of fresh air...wish Dick Justice would also manage them...

Finally got around to Mystery Vortex 3 and I'm in love again. I've been on a Thatcher kick lately and completely forgot he was on this show AND against Busick off all people.

By the way, PWG announced that all of their remaining tickets(So I don't think they're doing the door sales this weekend) for BOLA 2015 will be available tomorrow night at 8 PM PST. So, if you didn't get a chance the first time, don't squander this one!

A new Ospreay interview, a very nice down to earth chap as he has come across in interviews in the past. Talks about his upcoming trip across the pond for BOLA at the end

Can't they just say interview unless it really is guys shooting on each other?

It's finally BOLA week guys! So close... Trevor Lee needs to win this bad, I fear that they're taking too long to pull the trigger on him. That's not exactly new for PWG. See: Chris Bosh, Drake Younger, The RockNES Monsters, The Cutler Brothers, Willie Mack, and Brian Cage. All of these guys appeared to have been positioned for genuine pushes towards big title matches and/or reigns, but had the rugs pulled out from under them for various reasons.

With Willie Mack and Cage, I think that they lost that push because no one expected Adam Cole to be so damn good.

I'm still hedging my bets on Pentagon/Sabre/Trevor with one of the latter 2 getting the win. This BOLA is pretty unpredictable to predict
Also, did anyone time and see how long the standing room tickets were up until they were gone?
