Can someone out there try to actually justify this as not being...narcissistic to me? Because I just found out about this and I don't know why but it just really bothers me

How is it narcissistic? People paid good money and got a crap show. You don't deserve a refund because you didn't get the result you wanted, especially with how apparently everyone at the show loved the triple threat match and the tag titles match

Apparently there were also scattered "Bring Back Benoit" chants, which are a million times worse.

Trying to make a point.

They hated the Rumble, and chanted. I doubt any of them are serious about refunds. They just wanted to tell WWE their show was a waste of money. One great match doesn't justify PPV ticket prices.

The crowd wanted both refunds and Rusev. I'm actually surprised more fans didn't just walk out en masse. Would have been a surreal TV visual.
Then again, it's not like a walk-out protest was really going to mean anything apart from reaaally childish "civil disobedience". They already bought seats and WWE usually doesn't hand out refunds during a show unless someone like Cena gets announced but won't be performing (happened in Buffalo).

You're taking it way too seriously. It's another way of saying, "wow, that was dookie. What in the actual f***, WWE?"
Or are we doing "the fans are wrong" again?

I believe this chant was directed towards the IRS...everyone looking for their tax refund.

Because the show f***ing blew like Linda Lovelace in a wind tunnel and despite maybe thinking it'd be nice to get your money back, in reality you know it'll probably just drive some people up the wall and ultimately that's all yuo want. It's the same as chanting BULLSHIT on a PG rated pay per view in an arena full of children and parents. You want to annoy the right people.

The only acceptable chants imo are "Please", "Thank you" and "Make it Reign". Goddamn haters.

It's more along the lines of I can understand certain reactions and others while I don't like don't surprise me, but this one I just don't can't wrap my head around and try to figure out if the crowd that night actually felt that 20 minutes of the show that they didn't like warranted a chant of that nature
