So dragon is going to ufc too now? Is this official Bryan is leaving wwe? If "leaving" you mean the upper mid-card making huge cash, yes then he is leaving the WWE.

He's not done, the company probably didn't want to do a repeat of last year's Wrestlemania.

LOL Long as you don't start no Rekt threads or anything I'm good. TBH, I got the Mods summon idea from a hip-hop board I go to. Didn't realize it was a 4chan thing, but I'm certain the rap board got it from 4chan. All good internet things seem to come from 4chan. I should probably start going there.

You want the mods, you do this: or, failing that, you do this to get Mauds: She is coming, my own, my sweet; Were it ever so airy a tread, My heart would hear her and beat, Were it earth in an earthy bed; My dust would hear her and beat, Had I lain for a century dead; Would start and tremble under her feet, And blossom in purple and red.

I've seen this picture pn the forum for a while, but who are these two lovely ladies. The gal on the left kind of looks like Paige, but I can't be sure. Who are they? I'm not sure if you're joking or not. If you're serious, that's Paige and Ivelisse Velez(I honestly don't remember her WWE name). On topic, it's pretty crazy that some people think Bryan is done just because of the Rumble. As mentioned earlier in the thread , Bryan will probably main event a few shows this year and probably win the title again. I was being serious. I've been seeing that photo around these parts before Paige was in WWE and I'm not terribly familiar with Ivelisse Velez as I half watched the Tough Enough revival and haven't seen her yet in her new role in Lucha Underground. I've just been seeing that photo and think "Oh, that's two cute female wrestlers on the indie circuit" and then Paige shows up in WWE and I think "Oh, there's Paige member of the NXT (and eventually WWE) roster member." But I never managed to reconcile cute brunette indie wrestler in the photo and Paige from NXT/WWE until now.

2: He looked so dejected when he was walking away after being eliminated in the Rumble last night. I had a feeling he was going to be eliminated last night the first 30 seconds he was wrestling, he did not really show the usual passion he has for the art. Is this was CM Punk felt when he was told he was not getting his Mania moment? Wrestlers are supposed to look dejected when they lose a match. Unless they lose the match but pick a moral victory in the process (i.e. they lose the match but beat the shit out of a hated enemy in the process).

I see the company's role for Bryan akin to what Vince wanted for Bret. Upper midcard guy who you could give the IC title to, would put on great matches and have a long-term, stabilising popularity. Vince never really wanted Bret as the guy ever and he only ever got his title runs due to a serious of preferable options leaving or not working as hoped. I think the fans 'forcing'
Maybe headlining two or three or the minor PPVs a year, possibly being a transitional champion for brief periods but generally someone in the midcard who could put his head down and put on a good wrestling match. I do think that's maybe the best he can hope for and efforts to #hijack WWE into doing more isn't actually going to end up positively impacting his career

I think it's time to face the fact that Daniel Bryan is done in reality in the WWE. Here are the facts: 1: He has his grand Wrestlemania moment in 2014. The top Wrestlemania spot is rare and coveted. It's someone elses time, Roman Reigns. It's just fair to spread around the mania spot. 3: Roman Reigns is being book as strong as possible, and pardon the pun, on the fast lane to stardom. WWE never spent the cash to bring in a big A++++ name like the Rock to get Bryan the extra rub to pass the torch. Rock passed the torch last night to Reigns. 4: Vince and company NEVER intended to push Bryan the way they did from the start. He NEVER had the "look" that Vince likes. They were forced to push him because of CM Punk, Batista, and the fans. Vince will only allow the fans to dictate his booking ONE time - and that was in 2014 when we all got our Bryan mania moment. 5: There was never any realistic way they would trust Bryan with the top spot again right after coming off such a severe injury. I am not sure they will ever trust Bryan again after such a severe injury. It would be very bad PR if Bryan ends his run in the ring due to a severe or even fatal injury. Sadly, Bryan's popularity factors into this, if they push Bryan hard and his healing does not hold up the fans will of course blame the WWE for pushing Bryan too early before he had time to heal. I am a fan of Bryan, a huge fan. I just do not see this ending well for him this time. I don't think he is done. What do Austin, HHH (x2), Edge(X2), and a few others have in common? All of them had serve injuries that put them out longer then Bryan. When they cameback they where all given big pushes. Edge had all his world titles AFTER breaking his neck. retired as champion after comeback from blowing out his main ankle ligament. HHH had two torn quads and became champion more than once since them. First time he had a year long title run. Austin broken neck came back MEed WM. If Bryan is 100% he can be on top again. NOTHING says that Roman's is going to be successful in this push. Rock or no Rock fans reacted not in a good way at the Rumble. So what's to say that they will by into him? Nobody really knows. Roman can be a star but honestly he not ready. He needs another year to work on promos and finding himself as a character. If you can be creative and needa ALL your lines feed to you, yeah you not ME ready.

Also, they were both in FCW/NXT together at the time of that photo.

Ridiculous, isn't it. It's funny how people get pissed at Vince's "millennials" comment but he's bang on. Guys, do me a favor and actually respond to comments instead of doing silly stuff like this. Nobody is saying "The only reason this sucked is because the guy I liked didn't win"; lots of posters have been giving detailed reasons why they're upset at the outcome, and it has much less to do with the outcome of a single match than it does with a much larger, longer trend of WWE booking. It wasn't this one outcome, but that is really the center of everything - who wins what scripted matches. People have their hopes and expectations and when they're not followed, they throw a fit. The fit is just even bigger if it's a trend of them not getting what they want. I think it's a newish mindset, though we didn't have as many avenues to express these things earlier. But in the 80s for example, more wrestling fans managed to enjoy Ricky Steamboat matches, they didn't get personally offended and filled with angry rage because he wasn't pushed in the main event. There were plenty of people who weren't into Hogan and preferred the Steamboat style of matches. So they just enjoyed the Steamboat matches more than the Hogan matches, or they didn't watch.
