Hipster Wyatt would be an awesome gimmick.

Hipster Wyatt would be an awesome gimmick. In a swerve, Hipster Jesus Daniel Bryan ends up converting Bray Wyatt in the end.

he reminds me of a friend I used to have. He seemed really smart but in the end he uses his intellect to talk about magic the gathering and comic books.

The problem is his promos in NXT/FCW hinted at him taking over and challenging any and all authority. On the main roster, he's just another heel. That is why he seems more like a redditor than anything...he doesn't deliver on his promises.

Threads like this make me glad I have no clue what a "stereotypical Redditor" even is.

Funny you mention it, I was at a RR party and there was a guy there who hadn't watched wrestling in a while, saw Wyatt and said, "When did wrestlers become hipsters?".

Is Wyatt a hipster? .... or are hipsters cultists?

Funny you mentioned this: I got a guy I watch wrestling with all the time, but besides that, none of my friends watch wrestling on the regular. But they know that I've watched it for over 10 years, and now it's a running joke with them that my favorite wrestler wears a fedora.
One of my favorite cracks that they came up with was that his finishing move is The Friendzone, where he randomly whips out a laptop in the middle of the ring, and complains online about he's being oppressed and that one woman rejected him and that's bullshit, and his opponent gets so annoyed, that he leaves the ring, and Wyatt wins by countout.
