Not to be confused with your favorite match that just happened to take place when you were a kid that you like better now in hindsight.
For me it was Demolition vs Strikeforce from Wrestlemania 4.
Cut off age for this question would be 12 or 13 tops.

It's a cut-and-dry answer, but HBK/Razor from WM X will always be a personal favourite of mine as it's the match that made me into a fan.
One match I always had a soft spot for, and I still don't know why, is the Hardcore Battle Royal from WM 2000. It was so bad, yet I am still entertained by it to this day; an epic clusterf*** on the grandest stage of them all. Same can be said for my favouritism for Show/Raven/Kane at the next years WM show.

When I was younger, probably Triple H vs Cactus Jack at No Way Out 2000, but I nowadays, maybe HBK vs Mankind at Mind Games.
I like Foley, lay off me.

I really didn't get into wrestling until my pre-teen years, so my answer is going to be at that "tops" threshold.
I really enjoyed Bret Hart vs. Chris Benoit in tribute to Owen Hart. You could just tell how passionate those guys were about their fallen brother, and it stuck with me for a long time.

I miss that non smarkyness I had as a kid where all I needed to love a match was for it to have a guy I loved get a meaningful win. It did not matter if it was Warrior in 8 seconds or Sting in 45 minutes. Loved them both equally.
And yeah I dug the old power and paint gimmick alot.

My three faves were Savage/Steamboat from WM3, Ronnie Garvin/Greg Valentine Submission Match from the 90 Rumble and Tito Santana/Mr. Perfect from SNME in the summer of 90. Savage/Steamboat is still my #1 match ever and the other two are in my top twenty now, possibly even top 10 if I really thought about it.

Bret Hart vs Mr Perfect at Summerslam 91
When I started to appreciate the technical side of wrestling rather then the colourful gimmicks.

British Bulldog vs. Bret Hart from Summerslam 92.
I remember practically crying after Hart kicked out of the superplex, I wanted Bulldog to win so badly.

Bret v Bigelow from KOTR 93 probably. All 3 Bret matches from that PPV are good though and pretty much save the show.

I became a fan really late compared to most of you here. Became a fan in 2003 and rented a few wrestling VHS' at my local video store (Remember when those were around?) and the first match I watched a few times in a row was Big Show Vs Kane Vs Raven in the Hardcore Match at WrestleMania 17. It was just unlike anything I had ever seen before. I remember being shocked at Raven being tossed through the glass and wondering how he wasn't dead (I was 12 so I didn't know about stunt glass) and I remember the golf cart chase being crazy as well. They ended it with the huge spot and I thought it was just crazy and it's something I really liked.
That lead to a love for the Hardcore Title. For some reason I loved when they'd go backstage and it would be the one match I'd know was worth watching

Piper-Adonis at WM3 is probably tops for me. The energy was just unreal with it being Piper's "farewell," Adonis and Hart were getting chucked everywhere, and it launched the Barber gimmick that consumed me for pretty much the next year and a half.
