Yeah I think it's worth it. It's just a great match and the crowd isn't THAT hostile towards Cena. Yeah they boo him but there's no ridiculous 'You can't wrestle' bullshit.
I think the reaction to him is more negative around these parts with some people saying that he added nothing to the match and such and such.

The idea that Cena adding nothing to the match is so absurd I can not even imagine that a person saying it actually believes it.

I think Cena hate adds to his matches. And I loved this match for what it's worth.

The match was great. But the moment Brock went out for like 6 minutes annoyed me. Not because Brock was selling it was because it was hard for me to give a damn about what's happening after the table spot and Cena/Rollins going at it alone was ughhh.
WWE booked these two way too much before this match was announced and I'm sick of seeing the two go at. If it wasn't for the Phoenix splash I don't know if they were going to reel me back in.

I think Cena hate adds to his matches. And I loved this match for what it's worth. At this point I can't even go back to One Night Stand 2006, so a great Cena match with a Philadelphia crowd is going to have to be *really* great to counter it.

I think that Philly crowd respected Cena even if it is a begrudging respect. Just the normal sing songy stuff at the beginning but they were more pro Lesnar than they were anti anything.
PS Cena suxxorz.
Jk hes aight.

The match was absolutely worth the effort to watch. Cena was alright, but I loved, loved, LOVED the interactions between Brock and Rollins. All of it was fanfreakintastic.
I find it a little odd that the hate Cena receives is why you don't watch. From what I can tell he doesn't get near the hate he used to. These days the crowds aren't evenly split anymore, it's more like 75 - 25. Which, incidentally, is why I thoroughly enjoyed the Philly crowd. But more to the point, the boos, not even Philly seems to faze Cena. It looks like he feeds off it. If it doesn't bother him, why let it bother you and take you out of the show?

Honestly, just suck it up and watch it. The match is great and everyone involved did very well. At this point, you just need to accept the fact that Cena will ALWAYS get this kind of reaction, no matter what. It's permanently engrained in every single one of his matches and that's just how it is. It really shouldn't affect your enjoyment of the actual match at all. Just be thankful this isn't 2006-2007 John Cena where he was pretty much hated all across the board.

Hell of a match having now seen it in full. Everybody in it comes off amazingly. And a couple of Rollins' spots- the kneedrop on both guys, and the bit where Brock just catches him on his shoulders, blew me away. Brock's an absolute beast to catch a flying 220lb man on his shoulders like that without remotely buckling.
And I just love how, even though he CAN do so much more, his offence is just 2 suplexes. Such a "This is all I need" monster heel move.

You should have watched it on Raw, free, no entrances. It's Cena's best match since that Raw match with Punk in 2013.

I preferred the days when the winner didn't get a title shot. It makes the booking less flexible.

My favorite guy at the moment is Rollins, and it used to be Edge. I always cheered for Edge during his matches against Cena. Granted, they're supposed to get booed. But, being the controversial character who is the babyface to some and heel to others is part of Cena's character at this point. He handles it well, he smirks and plays into the crowd reaction. He gets a big reaction, a lot of the fans want him to lose. I think Cena is kind of outside of the babyface/heel thing, but his reaction is good, it's much much better than apathy. It also reminds me a bit of Kurt Angle who would get the "You Suck" chant to his music, and was technically a heel, but was presented as so badass it didn't matter, and he was very very over. Boos, cheers, it's working for him. Anyways, even if you don't like Cena being booed, I can't imagine a WWE fan not wanting to see this match. Best match in several years.

It's great, and there really isn't much of an anti-Cena thing. No more than usual anyway.

WWE's got plenty of good heels now. Brock's a great monster, Heyman's a great sleaze as is Rollins. Edge was amazing overall, Wyatt even if he's midcarding now is great in his role. And I don't automatically support faces by default. The Cena hate is different not just because I think he's charismatic like mad, but I love how he unabashedly plays (emphasis on "plays", I know RL Cena is skeezy) a kid-friendly, traditional face. That's not referring to how he's booked and him looking infallible (that is stupid), more so his mannerisms, the way he interacts with other characters, stuff like that. Yeah I know plenty of kids are into people like Reigns or even Orton, Brock or Ambrose, but I always had a soft spot for that "I'm with you guys" hero. And honestly, Bryan and Zayn being the only real traditional faces accepted by crowds lately, mostly due to their underdog images than their characters I'd wager, is kind of a bummer these days.

The Cena hate is more along the lines of just playing along more than actual hatred and the match is absolutely must see stuff.

I find your stance odd because why should you give a shit what anyone thinks of your fave? Letting strangers dictate what you watch is strange, not your love of Cena.
