I have an idea. Roman Reigns acknowledges the boos on RAW, calls out Daniel Bryan and tells him that he is not worth the WrestleMania main event, unless he beats Bryan. He puts his title shot on the line at the February PPV. dude.. i mean.. you want a face to tell the world he's not worthy of main event, which he earned fair and square??? i know noone likes him, but some of the fantasy booking is just ridiculous.. I don't think it's THAT farfetched. It's all about how it's said. Reigns could just say that he wants to prove to the WWE Universe that he is worthy, and do so by beating Bryan in one on one match. Reigns would get booed, though, so, yeah.

Don't bet on it. You'll probably have: Reigns/Lesnar: Probably 30 minutes. (God, help us all.) Sting/Taker: 25 minutes, not including their entrances. Cena/Rusev: 20 minutes. Wyatt/Taker (if it happens): 20 minutes ( not including Taker's 5 minute entrance). Rollins/Orton: 15 minutes. The Battle Royal (if they have one) will be about 15 minutes. Divas match will probably take up five minutes. Plus the Hall of Fame ceremony stuff and other shit to take up time (like a musical guest). That'll leave them between either 10 or 15 minutes of ring time. If their lucky. Wrestlemania has been a 4 hour show these past few years. All of that only fills about 2 and a half. Plenty of time to give to this match. Only 2 1/2? Well, Dolph/Bryan is now a 95 minute mat classic.

I have no interest in Dolph vs. Bryan. I'd rather see Bryan/Rusev and Ziggler/Cena. Let DB be the one to shut up the evil foreigners and let Dolph and John feud over that "Trainwreck" movie. See. I like those matches better. Cena/Ziggler could be great and there would be actual conflict involved. I know people here have said that a handshake after a long match would be an awesome Mania moment. I can't help thinking how ridiculous it would look. Ziggler's long match noodle head in full effect and a DB's crazy hair on the othe side. Plus the build for Bryan/Ziggler (if they keep both guys face) would just alternate between how much they respect each other and pseudo-shoots about how the WWE Machine has held them back. Thanks but no thanks.

I would like to see this match for a spot in the title match at Fast Lane. Keep them both face since both would want a deserving name in the title match. Give the other a good heel to face off in a great in-ring match while other other gets the title shot. WWE is just asking fans to shit on the title match if Ziggler and Bryan get a showing before then on the same PPV card.

One problem with doing this face v face is that I imagine the support for Bryan will dwarf the support for Ziggler. I mean Ziggler is over huge, and I am a fan, but I just don't see it being a divided crowd by any stretch with Bryan coming back from injury and still being the most popular fan favorite out there. I guess I don't know how many people will be cheering for their #2 choice to get a huge push over their #1 option. I really don't want to see either turn heel either. Maybe the format they will pull from is the Bret Hart/Roddy Piper IC match where Ziggler gets frustrated, thinks about cheating, but ultimately does the right thing.
Best case scenario, this leads to a show of mutual respect and a pairing going forward similar to how Jericho/Benoit were for the Two Man Power Trip.

The way I'd set up this match is have both guys talking about wanting a title shot. Have them win a bunch of matches between now and March to the point where they look to be the two top contenders. Then they can do one of those promos where one of them is out and demands number 1 contendership after Mania. The other interrupts and argues they should get the shot. Then Triple H (hiss) comes out and puts them in a number 1 contenders match, but with a catch. Whoever loses will not get a title match throughout all of 2015.
That way there's an interesting story, neither guy has to necessarily be a heel, and the result matters. It's also something that could really play towards a teased heel turn for either guy.

Seems like the WWE is underestimating the fact that people would be more than willing to chant "We Want Ziggler!" "Daniel Bryan!" for the rest of the daggone show.

Dave Meltzer mentioned in today's Wrestling Observer Radio that it was going to be Daniel Bryan vs. Sheamus at WrestleMania XXXI, but Bryan asked for Dolph Ziggler instead, and the match was changed. Sucks to be Sheamus when one of the top guys in the company doesn't think a match with you will be any buys.

If they really hated him as much as many of us believe they do, they would thrown him out on his ass, told him he was getting Sheamus and asked him to thank them for the privilege.

You're putting over Fandango in the pre show"

IMO there's two ways to make this match.
An ironman Mr Wrestlemania match in honour of Bret and Shawn or....
Macho Man honoury Wrestlemania one night tourney to name the number one contender.

Can't we just have Bryan, Ziggler, Reigns, Ambrose, Cesaro, Wyatt, Rollins, Kofi and Swagger have competitive storyline driven matches with each other at Wreslemania after Cena, Lesnar, Sting, HHH, Mysterio, Undertaker, Kane and Big Show have a retirement battle royal on the preshow?

Bryan prefering a match with Ziggler doesn't mean he wouldn't like or thinks a match with Sheamus wouldn't draw.
