Don't know who is currently reading Batman, but I have a theory on how Bruce Wayne may or may not be back in the cowl within a year. I'll spoiler tag this rambling nonsense of mine in case you haven't read Batman #43 yet: {Spoiler}What we have, now it is out in the open that Bruce Wayne is alive, is a Batman who isn't Batman, but also Bruce Wayne that isn't Bruce Wayne, so to speak. What actually happened at the end of "Endgame" was that Bruce Wayne as Batman, died in that cave with Joker, but the dionesium reanimated him, without the memories of his past or his skills learned as Batman. This isn't amnesia. It can't be. This man did not have those memories to begin with. Alfred said he's the only "true" Bruce Wayne to walk the earth. Perhaps he's what might have been or never was. Weird. But still intrinsically a good person who wants to do good, hence his now working at the youth center with Julie Madison.
But I still don't think even that will stop them from putting Bruce back in the cowl. I see this panning out 2 ways:
1) Julie Madison dies. Be it at the hands of Mr Bloom, or maybe some other new villain appearing during this "Batcop" run. This is the tragedy that spawns a "new" Batman in Bruce Wayne, albeit one that has to learn everything from scratch once more (remember he no longer has the detective skills or combat skills - they're gone). Admittedly, this could make things interesting, having him not be the "Bat-God" for once. It's why I prefer "Year One" to "Dark Knight Returns".
2) The machine Alfred reveals to Clark Kent (Who is hanging out at the Batcave while Alfred explains what the hell happend) that Wayne was working on to actually clone himself, creating a never-ending cycle of Bat-Men. I like this callback to "Twenty-Seven" from the New 52 Detective Comics #27, and it does kinda sound like the kind of ultra-paranoid thing he might do when faced with his own mortality. The machine was never finished by Bruce, and it is still there in the Bat-Cave. Suppose this new, happy Bruce Wayne is killed, but the machine is somehow finished, after Jim is done, we could have a new "young" Batman. The clone would start as of the time he declares he shall "become a Bat".
In "Twenty-Seven" this happens and this new Bruce is told this has been going on for 200 years, he's not the first and won't be the last and is told by the "old" Bruce that greets him to burn everything in the cave to make room for his own stuff - the new allies he will make, trophies from whatever enemies he will face (there's still a Joker card hanging up that the old one says he will find out about eventually, they all do - was Snyder hinting as Joker's alleged immortality then?).
Interesting that Gordon is still turning to this Bruce for help (the suit is made of Wayne tech reappropriated by the Powers group for this new "Batman". He never says whether he knew Bruce was the old Batman, but I could totally buy Gordon sussing it out, but then Bruce was linked with Batman though Batman Inc, even keeping his identity a secret. In less spoilery stuff, I love the art these days. Capullo's stuff is still great, but the colouring is really helping. Reminds me of the original version of The Killing Joke (Not the recoloured version released a few years ago) with the garish shades being used, and it works so well. Just look at this, man.

I imagine it could be a similar thing here.

RYV#4 {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}A so-so issue with Peter barely doing anything at all other than get captured by The Regent, who reveals he needs Peter's Spider-Sense to combat God Emperor Doom. Power Pack make Annie her costume off-panel much to MJ's annoyance. Ben Urich is revealed to have known Peter's identity all along and MJ lets it slip Peter has developed inhibitor chips. Hawkeye, in charge of SHIELD and missing an eye, instructs The Spot to duplicate Peter's inhibitor technology, and plans to make Regent bleed so he they lock his DNA on to the inhibitors. The true hero of the issue is Sandman. Despite being mind-probed to tip the Regent off to the resistance safe house, he uses a portal placed in his stomach by The Spot to send a message to the Resistance. The Sinister Six find the safe house for the resistance and battle Hawkeye's forces. The children and most of the resistance evacuates to another safe house and Annie has a quick one page fight with the Six. MJ urges her to escape but Sandman sends them a message revealing Peter is a captive of the Regent. At Annie's urging, MJ decides to help her save Peter and the two journey to the Regent's stronghold for the final confrontation

But not quite the same as before, apparently. As a black teenager? {Spoiler}Nope, he's a white dude. Big oafish looking guy, although there's a backstory (presumably about how he got his powers?) and in that, he was the same looking Ralph Dibny of old.
Sue's pretty much the same, too.

Apparently Secret Love is going to be included in the TPB of Renew Your Vows (SL has a scene revealing a lesbian MJ/Gwen pairing in the Squirrel Girl/Thor story)

Ah, lovely Peter/MJ stuff in the newspapers this week, Peter trolling the Mrs. with "Oh, well sorry for doubting me, but Black Widow IS hot" was a nice one, and MJ saw through it and gave him a snog anyway.
Sub-Mariner shows up in the next arc.
