Just remember, all food locations are dependent on who's working there. If you have a checked-out crew, you're gonna get shitty food regardless of the restaurant. d

No but remember when they were cheap? Yeah. If they ever revive the $5 footlong campaign now it's gonna be $5 for a half-foot.

I don't mind subway. Bread, cheese, bacon, chicken, veggies, it's food.
Chipotle is my jam though, best fastfood by far.

The first wants to see how fast it's possible for a human to make a sandwich, the other is the one who wants the Subway to look exactly like the picture and will take all night if necessary. Still doesn't taste like anything.

I always get one thing: cold spicy Italian loaded up with veggies and hot stuff, with the sriracha mayo dressing. I've had ones that were kinda bland tasting and I've had ones that hit the right spot. When it's good, it's really good. My favorite sub place is Firehouse, though. Love everything I've tried from there.

I seem to remember when Subway first came out, they food being pretty decent. Not great, but it was a good sandwich to eat every now and again. I went there the other day and it was horrible. Maybe it was never good, I dunno... Some of the stuff is pretty good. But most of the meat is incredibly dry and bland. But holy shit their Montreal Smoked Meat sandwiches are way way way way better then I expected. It needs saurkraut. Their sandwiches can be okay. It honestly can depend on the person even making it. Sometimes the meat is too cold and sometimes the bread can be stale as f***. I eat there mostly because I feel less guilt. If I could eat McDonalds for the same level of guilt I'd have McDonalds any day of the week. I never realized just how many Subways there were in North America until my family took a road trip from Toronto, to Michigan, through Northern Indianapolis, into Chicago, into Green Bay then back to Toronto. Literally every little town could have nothing, but they all had a Subway. I'd say only one in ten had a McDonalds or anything else.

I refuse to eat at Subway, as I find their ads to be insulting. (There are already enough words in the English language. You don't have to create any more. And for the love of all that is good and holy, can you please stop with the needless alliteration? We're not five.) I also boycott Firehouse due to a radio spot that openly mocked Italians. If I want a sub, I'll either go to one of the two local joints around the corner, to the Baldinos on the Perimeter or make it myself.
Oh... And I would be remiss if I didn't mention Sheetz. I miss Sheetz. It's the only place that let's put steak on my chicken sandwich and fries on my hoagie. They need to come to Atlanta.

Subway is alright in a pinch.
I'll go there once every couple of months. It's inoffensive food and you know what you're getting.
As for whether or not it being good in the past, I do remember liking it a lot more when I was a kid and it wasn't ubiquitous.
What I find funny is that it tastes the same wherever you go. I've eaten at Subways in Canada, the US and in England and you wouldn't be able to tell them apart.

Subway is awesome. My closest one has never disappointed me, it always has friendly workers, and a manager who always greets you like an old friend. Their food is delicious, and I have the Subway card, so the more points you accumulate, the more free subs you get. Italian BMT, Meatball, and Steak and cheese are my favs.

I have had ups and downs with Subways due to traveling a lot over the past few years. A lot of the rest stop Subways just don't have the best staffs for some reason. The Subway near my place is pretty well run though and always delivers at least decent sandwiches (which always justifies the price in my opinion). But I will always choose D'Angelo's if one is nearby, love that place.

The chicken is good, as are the rest of the ingredients in their subs. Also, probably the best lobster sandwiches you can get from a chain. Quiznos are probably still my favorite sub shop. If you're going to overpay for a sub, it should be Quiznos.

Subway's main draw for me is the Fuze sweetened Iced Tea. I prefer Quiznos when it comes to sandwich shops.

I can't say this enough: boycott Jimmy John's. Their CEO is an evil nutjob.

There used to be 3 or 4 in my area (including one in walking distance), now there's one that's a bit of a hassle to get to, thus I haven't been there in months now.

Never had Quizno's. Though I was curios when they still had those ads with the sponge monkeys.
