Ah jeez that was cringeworthy with the "DID I PUT ROMAN OVER ENOUGH" and the "WWE SPEAK" shit.

It was brief, but insightful. You can see WWE management mindset at work.

I'm guessing the technology that was used to catch this is the same as the old "What they don't want you to see" videos that are on youtube.

I don't see the biggie. He rehearsed and he had bullet-points to cover. It's a live TV show they're paid hundreds of millions of dollars a year to produce. How else do we think this is going to work?

Even during the Attitude Era, The Rock rehearsed a little. It was shown on Beyond the Mat when he was going over what was to be said and how to say it.
It's a TV show!

He wasn't really feed his lines. You can tell because they talked about the whole "wrestler stuff" and if he put Roman over. So it seems they only asked him to say it a different want but he hit the points right. Roman comes off as someone off camera is holding a Q card.

They probably put it out to show that everybody's hero needs help; so don't get on Roman.

I don't think they put it out, it was just one of those feed things that got intercepted, wasn't it?

His grin at the "pro-wrestler" bit was great. Dude's all "yeah, I was surprised to see that in the script too."

From Dolph Ziggler's tweet, to Bryan's "Punk-esque" tweet, to the idea of Ziggler vs. Bryan opening Wrestlemania, to this..... I dunno, I'm almost looking at all this as subtle buildup. The whole "brass ring" thing has been used to a point where it would seem like they'd tie that whole thing into this match. I don't see either Ziggler or Bryan going full heel on it, with the intention of them both working their asses off to get their positions solidified.
It only works if it's real... and by having stuff like this out there, specifically citing Bryan having to put Roman over and not to use the word "pro wrestler"... just seems like more seeds being planted for this match. I don't see WWE backing down from Reigns vs. Lesnar... but, to quell backlash.. having a match that pleases fans and directly addresses the backlash and their frustration would appease them to a degree. Their match is never gonna get the same type of hype that Reigns and Lesnar will, and I doubt Bryan and Ziggler's momentum won't even start to build until after Fast Lane... but throwing this out there now plants seeds.
I see it like the Rock vs. Triple H series of matches back in '98... where the entire purpose of the feud was to elevate them both, which ties into the whole "grabbing the brass ring" thing... with their promos talking about their sacrifices, their hard work, how they've been overlooked, how WWE seems to have no faith in them, yet talking about the brass ring. Then them coming to a mutual agreement, only one of them can grab it... but if it takes them having to tear the house down, they'll get it. To have their goal be, when it's all said and done.... when people think of Wrestlemania 31, they think of Bryan vs. Ziggler.
... or it could just be a random feed interception and is no big deal at all.
