How did this get made? I mean...HOW? Was the first one that big of a hit?
Anyone even get through this? When he was f***ing the Annabelle doll, I almost turned it off, but I only lasted ten more minutes after.
It's the kind of film that makes you question everything about your life choices.

Why don't you ask Mark Henry why he is in it?

I made it through it, so that means I must hate myself.
I honestly don't know. The first one wasn't horrible, but no one was screaming for a sequel. And it makes the first look like an award winner in comparison.

I never saw the first one, but watched this one.
I don't know why I couldn't turn it off... it was almost like, I made it 30 minutes in, I HAVE to finish it. Such a horrible, horrible movie.

Mark Henry's small part had me laughing hysterically though. His little bit was absolute gold in my opinion and he played it perfectly.

The first one was a ridiculous success.
A HAUNTED HOUSE Production Budget: $2.5 million Worldwide Gross: $60,141,683
A HAUNTED HOUSE 2 Production Budget:$4 million Worldwide Gross: $23,959,486
Theoretically, they could go for the triple, but that drop should be enough to scare them away from the idea...unless they go direct to DVD.
Note: Budget and Gross Numbers came from BoxOfficeMojo.com

I love the shit out of both Haunted Houses, and I had zero expectations when I first rented HH1. I think it comes down to 1. I find Marlon Wayans very likeable and feel like he does put together an interesting character in Calvin, and I enjoy seeing Calvin just completely fall apart through the course of the 2 movies. 2. I think Essence Atkins is AMAZING and I wish she was a huge movie star that starred in all the movies. 3. I hate f***ing ghost movies, and enjoy seeing even lame parodies/criticisms of them. 4. The world constructed in these movies is so goofy. 5. I found The Conjuring boring and Annabelle f***ing beyond boring and pointless, the only good thing to EVER come from Annabelle are the Abigail scenes in HH2, which I think are f***ing hilarious (especially when he's trying to kill it). Mark Henry's small part had me laughing hysterically though. His little bit was absolute gold in my opinion and he played it perfectly. That whole Sinister parody, hummy, was one of my favorite parts of HH2, cuz (though it doesn't get much more groan inducing than "get my Breaking Bad on", because of course otherwise we wouldn't get it).
