You got a problem with "My Wife and Kids"? Yes, I do. The problem's name is Franklin. Tisha Martin carried the hell out of that show. As did the kid who played Junior, despite being written to look like a dunce. ...Ok I'll give you that, but Damon Wayans was funny in it.

I think they CAN be funny. ILC was great. I think they may have gotten caught up in their own hype when it comes to things like the Scary Movie/WHite Girls movies.
I also think Marlon is underrated and pretty Damn talented, even I'm serious roles. He was excellent in Requiem for a Dream. and Don't Be A Menace... is pretty great, too.

Keenan and Damon were really funny. Shawn and Marlon were rarely funny.

Damon > Keenen > Marlon > Kim > Shawn. That's all I gotta add.

You're wrong and you should feel bad about yourself. Scary Movies 1 through 3 all agree with this man. Scary Movie 3 was not a Wayans family production. And I did not care for Scary Movie 2. Though I did like the first one. And Major Payne. And The Great White Hype. And Celtic Pride. And Mo' Money. And In Living Color. And that one season of Saturday Night Live. And later when he came back to host. I'm a Damon Sr. fan.

I loved Damon Wayan in Major Payne. That's really all I have to contribute.

I have recently found great enjoyment in Don't Be a Menace, Scary Movie 2, both Haunted Houses.
I have vague memories of enjoying I'm Gonna Git You Sucka (though more clear memories of preferring Hollywood Shuffle) and In Living Color.
Absolutely not a fan of Mo Money, Dance Flick or Little Man.
So while I do not agree with the anti-Wayans sentiment entirely, I do sympathize with how some arrive at that perspective.

I'm Gonna Git You Sucka was a really smart send-up of blaxploitation films.
In Living Color was a hugely influential sketch show that launched the careers of people like Jim Carrey and Jamie Foxx.
Damon Wayans, Jr. has been one of the funnier network sitcom actors of the past several years.
Ergo, I disagree with your assertion.

I did enjoy quite a bit of the Wayons Bros. show, but forget that funny shit Marlon killed it in Requiem For A Dream.

Eh, I wouldn't say that. They're funny guys. They've always kinda required that you dumb yourself a bit to enjoy their work and have been a part of A LOT of schlock though.
As a kid, I thought they all showed nothing but promise going forward. Now though, you see each new project and just go "ecch."
They're hacky, but they're not just dead weight. They just need to be focused correctly, as they've really laid some eggs when left to their own devices.

Damon Wayans is hilarious as a stand-up comic. Keenan has his moments. I wouldn't rate the others as high.
