I also think Marlon is underrated and pretty Damn talented, even I'm serious roles. He was excellent in Requiem for a Dream.and Don't Be A Menace... is pretty great, too. This is what I came to post. I respected the hell out of him after this role. Much like I wasn't fond of the Rock's work until he did "Southland Tales". For actors/movies like these it's all about the role and shows how important the director is. As far as being funny the Wayans had me since "Don't Be a Menace..." (except for Keenan's annoying "MESSAGE!" parts) up through Scary Movie 2. Everything since hasn't been as creative or funny to me.

I'm Gonna Git You Sucka was a really smart send-up of blaxploitation films. "A family full of midgets is not considered kids, that's a gang!" How'd he go to the bathroom with all that on?

Damon was great. Major Payne was awesome, Great White Hype was a great satire, and Celtic Pride had its moments.

I'm glad someone else saw the Great White Hype. Sometimes I think I'm the only one who did. It's a hilarious movie. Vastly underrated and unfairly ignored.
