I'll believe it when I get a Ness in my hands for $13 Yeah, with everything it's easy to say something. But at least they admit there is a problem unlike some companies that would continue to say there is nothing wrong.

They should just do amiibo like Warner Bros. does some of their DVDs...manufacture to order.
Sure it's easier with a DVD than the figurine, but then people could get their hands on the ones they want via Nintendo's website.

Honestly, it's also up to the retailers to limit the amount of amiibos customers can buy to curtail the scalpers.

Hopefully I can get a Pit, a Jigglypuff, and a Rosalina after all then. Either way no matter what I have to pay for Lucina I'm getting her... unless the price'd rival the Figma figure in which case I'll just get that. Kind of want it anyway. Only Amiibo I have so far's the Mario Party-line Bowser which a friend picked up for me but hasn't actually shipped yet - prefer that one over the Smash Bros. one of him. Also kind of want to get Link and Ness at some point, and Palutena and Pittoo.
Also! Don't go directly from playing the original Paper Mario to playing TTYD. Usually kill it in the latter game and just crush everything in my path but coming straight off of the original since the timing is very different on the jumps it took me until just before Hooktail to stop being atrocious at the action commands. After TTYD thinking on replaying Super. Following that... Ugh. I guess I should replay Sticker Star just to finish the set, but f*** me I don't want to.

Shouldn't you play the original Mario RPG first since the first Paper Mario was going to be a sequel to that?

Eh, it's not been that long since I played through it or since I watched a Let's Play of it.

Honestly, it's also up to the retailers to limit the amount of amiibos customers can buy to curtail the scalpers. It's pretty stupid that retailers didn't limit purchases to begin with. I get that money is money to stores and all that, but Nintendo knew they were only producing a limited number so they should've had something set up to make sure that people can buy them.

Stores don't care. All they care about is whether they get the sale.

Good to see they at least realized the mess they've made.

The port strike on the west coast didn't help either.

For what it's worth I believe they are quietly reissuing Shulk, Marth, and Mac.

I get that money is money to stores and all that, but Nintendo knew they were only producing a limited number so they should've had something set up to make sure that people can buy them. When Meta Knight came out, my local Best Buy limited it to one Meta Knight per customer since they had a very very very short supply of them. However, one customer brought a couple of friends so they could get multiple Meta Knights and another brought their mom to buy one too. So some places are trying, but it doesn't always work out fairly.

It's funny to me that the Triple H of Smash, Meta Knight, is incredibly hard to get for retail
