Okay, I have no problem with the streak being broken.
However, I am wondering what happens if Undertaker wrestles a few more matches at Wrestlemania.
So at the moment, his record is 21 straight wins, a streak attained, and the one loss to BAAAARRROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOCK LEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSAAR. So he is 21 and 1.
Say he wrestles Wyatt this year and wins. For me it confuses the streak, because then he has 22 victories at Wrestlemania. One victory post Brock.
And then say he wrestled Sting at Mania next year and lost. It would then be 22 victories and 2 losses.
I don't know, just the whole continuing to wrestle after the streak is bothering me a bit with regards to the numbers and the luster of THE STREAK.

A streak means "in a row".
I think that sufficiently covers the bases, here.

I want The Undertaker to win, and Michael Cole to go "THE UNDERTAKER IS 1 AND 0 AT WRESTLEMANIA! THE STREAK IS REBORN!" It would so bad it would be good.

Quite simply, there's no more luster and no more streak. They could still bring up 21-1 as an extremely impressive feat (which it is), and how the 21 came in a row, but any talk about the streak like it's still an ongoing thing would be stupid.

I actually agree 100%. If they were gonna end the streak, that needed to be the end of the Undertaker. I don't like him wrestling again at all. Now, he feels totally pointless.

Either they should have ended it years ago so his matches can have meaning again (yes) or they should stop now that it's over

I don't get the problem. The Hawks just won 18 games in a row then lost. They had an 18 game winning streak. A team broke that streak. I think they've won one or two since but it's independent of the 18 game streak. If you want to combine the two you say that they are 19-1 over their past 20 games. You can still talk about Taker's incredible 22-2 or 23-1 or whatever record at Wrestlemania. The streak was the streak, Independent of what came after.

Broken by the loss of his streak, Taker starts a new streak. At each and every wrestlemania he will wrestle naked.

I don't know why, but I started thinking about Clerks.
"My Undertaker beat 27 guys..."
"In a row?"

Yeah at this point it's like, who f***ing cares? It feels less like Undertaker showing up to defend his streak and more a face version of Kane and Show to screw around with the new generation, who only shows up once a year.

I don't mind if Taker continues wrestling. I don't think the end of the streak should mean him retiring because I feel like that would minimize the rest of his career and make it look like the streak was all he had going for him. A match with Undertaker is a bigger deal han a match with Kane or Big Show. The fact that someone from the current generation is actually allowed to step into the ring with Taker is a huge accomplishment. They wasted Taker's last few years on "dream matches". He needs to work with the younger talent before he hangs it up. The younger guys don't have to go over Taker to get a rub. Getting beaten by him won't hurt a guy as much as losing to Kane or Big Show would.

The streak should've never been broken, period. If they were dead set on breaking it, that should have been the final Undertaker match.
Not only did they kill off a cool part of each WrestleMania, they completely devalued every Undertaker match from here on out. The interest is gone.

Now that the streak is broken I don't care anymore and I hope Wyatt wins.
It'd be big deal, sure he didn't break the streak but he still best Taker at Mania.

Undertaker should start cooking a Steak in the ring after every Mania match, win lose or draw.

It's stupid. I don't want to see Taker wrestle at Mania again. Maybe a match at Summerslam or Survivor Series, but he should be done at Mania.

I think Undertaker's next match will be a retirement match. He deserves to go out at Mania

He should go on a run of 21 straight losses at Mania now, that would be like a licence to print money
