Ric Flair pulled out some decent matches in his last WWE run, a wild series with Triple H and Mick Foley, and even took part (and took bumps) in Money in the Bank and TLC matches. The guy worked almost weekly on Raw from 2002-2007 before the move to SmackDown and the start of his retirement angle.

I've been watching late 95-early 96 Nitros, and Flair was just so awesome at (I'm guessing) around 45 or so. His feuds with Sting and Savage at the time are great while him and the Horsemen were running roughshod over everyone.

Rick Martel was north of 40 during that run in WCW before injuries convinced him to retire.

I have to say Hogan when the NWO was brought into the WWE. Just watching his match with The Rock brought chills, not only that, he ended up having great matches with Angle, Jericho, Taker, Hunter, and his match with Lesnar was probably one of my favorite Smackdown matches.
He really wrestled as if he had a fire lit under his ass and it showed in his work in my opinion.

Jeff Jarrett had some good matches and had a fun character between 2010-2012 (in my opinion) I've always liked Jarrett (except for that Planet Jarrett nonsense) and I say without hyperbole that "MMA Master" Jeff Jarrett beating up little kids at a karate dojo is the funniest thing TNA ever did. Jarrett is great. I enjoyed his TNA work plenty, even if he hogged the spotlight a bit. DDP is a great pick. The guy is close to 60 and even though it was just a brief Rumble cameo, looked in great shape. I often wonder just how huge a star he'd have been if he'd been discovered 10-15 years earlier, with his NJ working man charisma he could've been the Bruce Springsteen to Hogan's Sly Stallone. And I'll second Goldust. The guy busts out flying hurracanranas now, he's more athletic than he's ever been.

How has no one yet brought up Bad News Brown? He had an awesome run in the late 80's. Also Ax of Demolition was in his 40's by the time the team got going.

I always thought Raven did some really good work during the later part of his career.

I'm kinda thinking that way myself now. I'd see a Tony Garea or Rene Goulet in 1985-86 and thought they were around forever. Compared to today, they had the same amount of time put in as John Cena. And I don't think of John as old. Well, I think the big difference here is that Garea and Goulet looked like high school phys ed. teachers by that point in their careers. Cena does not look like a phys ed. teacher.

Hulkster was the man in 02/03. Especially 02. At age 49/50.

Its a shame Bret got hurt. I would have loved to have seen an inspired WWE return in 2002 to see him go against Angle, Benoit, Jericho, HHH and Shawn. Ugh, not to mention Brock. It's sad to think about really what could have been. Man, the PPV card would be just worth it alone for him. Royal Rumble vs. Angle No Way Out vs. Benoit Wrestlemania X8 vs. Shawn Michaels Backlash vs. HHH for the Undisputed Title Judgment Day vs. Jericho King of the Ring vs. Brock Lesnar in the Finals Venegenece vs. Undertaker Summerslam vs. The Rock for the Undisputed Title Unforgiven vs. Edge No Mercy vs. Eddie Guererro Survivor Series vs. Rob Van Dam Armmageddon vs. Booker T. $59.95 a month? No problem. Coulda got a rematch in with Austin too!

If Bret had not had that paralyzing stroke (caused by the concussion), his return would have topped HBK's return. Imagine Bret returning on a 2003 episode of RAW in Montreal during the start of the Ruthless Aggression era shooting on things he would like to get of his chest in regards to McMahon, HBK, and Bischoff. Bret would have still looked like the way he did in 1997 if the stroke had not happened. Black leather Jacket with wavy black hair (before he got gray hair) would have been awesome.
