I’ve been keeping an eye on The Surge for a while, it looks pretty cool and the extra powers and feature seem neat.
Conan Exiles...is a PS Plus game....

SURGE PRO-TIP
Early game there’s two powerful security enemies with powerful staffs. These guys do not respawn though. Coax them out of their doorway one at a time and attempt to chop their arm off. If you don’t get the staff drop, go back to “bonfire” and try again. Do this until you have that staff.

Cyberpunk looks too good to be true. There’s something weird about it.

I feel like I've been saying this with every game I start, but yeah - God of War is quite awesome.
I didn't play too long or get far at all. I finished The Marked Trees and then had to stop playing because my cold caught up with me and gave me a major headache. But damn...what a beautiful game with an already emotional story. Can't wait to get back to it when I get a few hours I can dedicate to it.

To give you a small idea of the game, God of War is one of the 4 games that I've played that I view as essential PS4 games to play, alongside The Last of Us, Horizon Zero Dawn, and Bloodborne.

That's awesome. I'm glad I'm playing it, then. The Last of Us was definitely awesome. Horizon is on my list. I have to look into Bloodborne a little more. So much to catch up on!

It’s taken about a week for Sekiro to completely win me over. Love it now!

One of these days I'll have to give these From Software games a shot, but considering Kingdom Hearts 2's hardest bonus fights have me completely stuck and damn near throwing the controller I don't think they're for me.

One day a switch just flipped for me. Back in the day I couldn’t beat Demon Souls. Beat the first boss, then got stumped about what to do next. Then I couldn’t get past the beginning of Dark Souls 1. Never even saw the first boss. Couldn’t get past the beginning of DS2. Again, never even saw the first official boss. Somehow I stumbled onto an optional boss and won. I wondered why I kept buying these infuriating games that kicked my ass every single time. The Bloodborne came out, and I kept dying. And dying. And dying. Then one day... I didn’t. I learned and “got good” and made my way through the first area. Got the first shortcut. Found the next lantern. Eventually I Platinum’d BB and it’s DLC. Since then I’ve beaten DS1, 2, & 3 did a speed run of BB in slightly less than 2 hours and am well on my way to beating Sekiro and they’re some of my favorite games ever.

To me, my Platinum in Bloodborne is my best gaming achievement to date. The battle against the Watchdog of the Old Lords in the Defiled Chalice Dungeon...quite possibly the most challenging battle I've ever faced in a game, it felt like such a weight off my shoulders after that battle. And then I faced the Defiled Amygdala...that was a whole other challenge there.

I think getting 5 star on Freebird on Expert in Guitar Hero was probably the most excited I've been at pulling something off in a videogame. I died instantly every time if I tried the same on Through the Fire and Flames, so I wasn't THAT good. That and a Killtacular in an OG Halo LAN 8 person multiplayer game. Pretty casual player and didn't know that was a thing. All I have left for platinum on Kingdom Hearts II are the Organization XIII data fights and Lingering Will. Sephiroth was easy, but these f***ers I can barely get a scratch on before dying.

I’m the only weirdo here that didn’t liked god of war, it was impressive but the combat new mechanics and the shield turned me off.
Back in my day Kratos never blocked, he just parried. Get off my lawn!

First footage of the new Sakura Wars game on PS4 which is slated to come out in the West and Europe in Spring of 2020.
I'm hyped, because I've always had a liking to this series due to it being a nice blend of turn based steampunk mecha combat and visual novel dating sim.

Get off my lawn! I didn't like it either. I tried but it was just too boring for me. Regarding Yakuza 0, I'm on the part where {Spoiler}the eye patch guy has to kill someone to get back into the yakuza . Does the story picks up a little bit from there? The combat itself isn't very interesting so I'm hoping the story makes it worth it

Goro’s side business will made it all worth it

Hopefully after this I can just ignore it and go through the main story

I really just haven't had any interest at all in the new God of War. Any gameplay I've seen just looks tedious and really I don't see what was wrong with just having a stupid hack-and-slash to where they needed to SRS it up... and if they do want to try and have it be more serious I really think it's much too late for Kratos to be at all redeemable or likable and they probably should've just ditched God of War entirely and done the same thing with some other title and hero.
Granted I can't exactly claim to be a gigantic fan of the old ones either. I liked 1 and 2 enough but it's been years since I played them, plus I've owned 3 for ages and never actually felt the urge to play it.

All the videos I've seen of gameplay do nothing to make it look exciting or innovative, it just doesn't interest me when I have no investment in the mythos of the character and his world. Having said that, I'm really enjoying playing Assassin's Creed: Odyssey, which is very much an Action RPG, and the fighting is hardly filled with variety. But I find the storyline interesting, and the Ancient Greek setting, without gods and monsters (for the most part) is a fun place to be. The best game I've played on the PS4, I would have to say, is Horizon: Zero Dawn. An original IP, with a really interesting world and mythology, an engaging protagonist and a story packed with mystery and emotion. And the gameplay is great, particularly the different challenges presented by different machines, and different weapons.

Been playing Sekiro and I have no idea why I keep buying From games. They’re great games and I enjoy playing them, but I get so far into them and realize there’s no way I’ll have to the patience to beat them.
