Just got God of War for Christmas. Into the back log it goes!
I'm positive the only reason I got it instead of Spider-Man was because my dad did most of the shopping this year instead of my mom.

I preorderd Ace Combat 7.
My favourite game series so I look forward to the 18th. Love AC. Assault Horizon was the game I got my highest global ranking (27) online. Every other game I'm a nobody in the 100s and 1000s.

I wasted money on Detroit Become Human, other than the first hostage mission the rest of the game is poop and it was insulting to the civil rights movement with its stupid allegories.
Quantum Dream got lucky with Heavy Rain. I’ll never buy anything from them again.

Not too far into it, yet. But I'm really digging it thus far.

I thought the game was an outstanding example of storytelling, which is hard to do with user controlled branching, since it’s harder to do an overall narrative when players will have the characters behave differently depending on their choices. Subtle it is not, but the game really did it for me. I’ve played through 3 times just to see different things.

There was no excuse for the hands up don’t shoot marches when real people lost their life. I was expecting a noir crime story. I wish the Markus storyline never happened. I would’ve been happy with Connor chasing Kara in a grounded story.

Having their story deeply rooted in the civil rights movement is a good example of humans not learning from the past and mankind doomed to repeat it’s mistakes. Perfectly acceptable allegory in my mind. Admittedly playing Markus as violent really clashes with everything but playing out his peaceful passive aggressive story worked in my eyes.

I'm playing Yakuza Kiwami with it being the PS+ title from last month and really enjoying it. It's clear that the developers of sleeping dogs were trying to copy its formula, but Yakuza has more heart and a more robust combat system I think.

I enjoy it. There’s something almost soothing about cutting through the fresh snow every trip down a mountain.

I love the Open World genre for the most part but this one in particular is a breath of fresh air and I’ll look to be getting the DLC at some point.

I got my PS4 last February. I'm finally starting to use it more.
I have: Spider-man Uncharted 1-3 Uncharted 4 Destiny 1 and 2 Crash Bandicoot (mostly for my gf)
I beat Spider-man. Phenomenal experience. I also beat Uncharted 1 and 2 and am halfway through 3. I'm really enjoying the series.
Once I get through what I have, I'll probably get God of War 4, which looks really cool. I have my eye on Far Cry 5, too.

I’m looking to buy Vampyr but the reviews for the game say it’s mediocre, is it worth a try?
