I was just watching St. Valentine's Day Massacre and got to the infamous moment where the cameras pick up Ken Shamrock arguing with his "sister" outside the ring and him telling her "slap me" a little too loud. I decided to turn on the subtitles and there it was on the screen, "SLAP ME!". Not only did they not try and turn the volume down on that bit, they put it up on the captions for all to see.
Just thought I'd share.

I wonder if there's any more TALK TOO MUCH moments that get subtitles.
Maybe they could make a new viewing experience by subtitling the talent calling the moves.

I'd like to think they know it's pretty much the only reason anyone would watch that segment again.

I'd like to think they know it's pretty much the only reason anyone would watch that segment again. It's not that bad a match.

That's brilliant, worth the $9.99 alone.

Either the subtitles are added automatically or someone not smartened up to what happened there added them.

Wonder if any other moments like that have been subtitled.
"Goddam it Jeff"
"He fell on his f***ing arse"

Wonder if any other moments like that have been subtitled. "Goddam it Jeff" "He fell on his f***ing arse" I suggest we all go and find out and report our findings here.

Just had a look for the "God damn it, Jeff!" bit. It's not on the subtitles because they've sliced that part out completely. Rico goes to the top, wobbles a bit, cut to a different camera showing Jeff shaking the ropes, Rico fall down.

It sounds so kinky. Like Ken got his thrills by asking his sister to slap him.

It sounds so kinky. Like Ken got his thrills by asking his sister to slap him. I think they were going to more or less make that a plot point--I know they were considering an incestuous angle at the very least.

I like how all the closed captioning says "WWE" instead of "WWF"

Someone look up that Eddie/Mysterio ladder match where Vickie misses her cue!

Someone look up that Eddie/Mysterio ladder match where Vickie misses her cue! Eddie pounding the mat in frustration is still there, but WWE definitely lowered the audio so you can't hear him cursing. It doesn't show up on the captions either, though at one point they do say [INDISTINCT]

Pretty much any Ken Shamrock match has that...the "Slap Me" is the first time he wasn't cussing out a referee.
