Jericho as a babyface. Just too cloying. Listen to his intros on his podcast. Just brutal. If I never hear him do that awful Andre the Giant imitation he does or hear him sing "Hibbity Dibbity" again it will be too soon. Like him as a wrestler and a person though. Yeah Jericho is one of my all time favourites but recent face Jericho is so bad. WCW Jericho is one of the funniest guys ever but his WWE "comedy" style is so cringe worthy.

As a HUGE Rock fan when I started watching back in 2000, it pains me to say after he came back in '11, he was terribly unfunny. Kung Pao B*tch? Soviet Streetwalker? Sigh... Then DX 2006. The whole thing for me was ruined with HBK not really doing risque stuff anymore, leaving HHH, which someone mentioned as the unfunniest person alive to carry them, it was just bad. Then Cena, Hornswoggle, and Santino after the Tea Party with Sheamus.

Dolph Ziggler has gotta be up there.
Mainly because he tries way too hard to be funny, and it rarely ever works.

As bad as sophmoric Triple H is, Smark Triple H is worse and imo just the worst comedy in WWE. It's like he doesn't care about gimmicks or other peoples characters, but impressing the boys in the back and the internet nerds he hates so much.

Jericho has had terrible "comedy moments " he's an awesome. heel - but his comedy doesent do anything for me , Cena also has some bad moments , I dont mind the occasional unfunny jokes in a throw away feuds , but when feauding one of his top 3 rivals , CM Punk - he called him cm sucks - in an otherwise very serious promo , face fun loving Kane is an abmonation as well . But the most unfunny "funny " man in the last 14-15 years has got to be King. , I hate his current commentary

I'm curious about more examples of this. I know there are a glaring example or two (like his dig at Chris Masters, how to lose 50 lbs in three weeks), but I never thoughtof it as being a huge reoccuring problem for HHH. He exposed Kofi's gimmick change too. Sorry for the double post, but I also had to add that he made Cena's fanbase shrink a hell of a lot more during their WM22 feud. I remember Triple H just tearing into Cena, basically starting the "You can't wrestle" chants. And what was worse was that Cena didn't argue against Hunter during that feud, he basically agreed to him and verbally fellated him back.

The face version of the Miz where he was a smirkey f*** who told jokes was brutal, just brutal.

I struggle to think of any legitimately funny personalities in WWE. The ones that were - Foley, Rock, Edge and Christian, Austin - seem to be very funny people in real life. I think most of us can agree that the comedy writing the WWE writers put down are some of the absolute worst in the history of television.
Notice the people I mentioned as legitimately funny were people from the era where more freedom was allowed and they could be actually funny. In WWE now, where you need to follow the script to a tee, no one can make the material they're given into actual humour. The only funny line I can remember in recent memory is a line botch and improv by Cena: "I don't know how I'm meant to tuck my legs between my legs." That was actually funny.

HHH, because his humour tends to be detrimental to the wrestler he's insulting. It'll always be some kayfabe-breaking dig at their weaknesses, which should be concealed. . Yeah Deadpool should never break the fourth wall either and don't even get me started on those pesky anamaniacs..... Breaking the 4th Wall in wrestling is like saying MacBeth in a theater.

Santino during the guest host days was particularly bad.
It was like every week there was 10 minutes set aside for Santino to come out and do a set.

Seriously this was supposed to be Trips "passing the torch" to Cena (already the most over guy on the roster and biggest seller, but you aint officially shit in WWE till Trips makes you) and instead he exposed the guy pegged to carry the company and Cena's response was to say how great Trips was. I also feel like Taker went from being a guaranteed great match at mania to a pity guy ever since Trips "lost the match but won the war". It might be just me but I just want him to call it a day and stop risking things. That's why I am dreading this inevitable Sting build up. Please Sting don't kiss his ass.

Agreed and to be fair to Cena, he seems like a riot on Total Divas. The competitions with Nikki were amazing. His beer pong performance was legendary.
