Pretty much the inverse of my other thread about funny wrestlers. This is about wrestlers who at least to some degree were meant to be funny. So for instance, there was nothing funny about Barbarian (antlers notwithstanding), but then again he was never really meant to be funny so he doesn't count.
I expect Cena to be a popular answer.
One that I'll throw out there though is Batista. At least intentionally. Specifically around 2005/2006 WWE tried to give him more of a personality where he'd crack a joke here or there. They were never funny.

Stand up comedian Sheamus in 2012 was unbearable, I was so sick of hearing about old Irish tales and Arse every week.

I swear I am not trying to be a contrarian, but personally, I never found The Rock funny. But I understand I'm in the minority.

A top five guy anyway, given his unique look and his talent. However, certainly not with THAT personality. Sheamus needs to be a monster heel or a silent badass. Certainly not the jokey, "hey fella" Cena 1B personality they were giving him for so long. As for Bartlett the best thing I can say about him in the WWF is at least he was in the right era. As bad as Bartlett could be he fit 1993 in a Tod Pentingall sort of way. Again, that's not saying he was good, but he could have come off so much worse in different eras.

Doink and The Bushwhackers annoyed me to no end.
However, heel Doink and heel Sheepherders were f***ing awesome.

Remember when they teased a HHH/Michaels DX reunion in 2002? You know, right before HHH and Michaels feuded? I remember thinking, "Thank God that didn't happen. Those two are way to old to be doing that old schtick." Then 2006 came. It was BAAAD. HHH hate notwithstanding at least he still had some comedic timing in 2006. Everytime they tried to make Michaels funny around then it almost always tended to be horrendous. "I kicked Stan" notwithstanding.

I know it's a bit redundant at this point, but Hornswoggle was nightmarishly bad for the few years he appeared regularly.

Maybe it's because I was 13 when the group debuted, but I thought the original heel DX was hilarious.

I'll also throw in the current commentary team of JBL, Lawler & Cole. The worst part is they seem to genuinely believe that their act is hilarious.

I never thought original DX was supposed to be 'funny' to anyone but themselves, they were sophomoric assholes more than anything else.
Now DX 2006 was really bad most of the time.
But Hornswoggle sucked more ass than you would have thought humanly possible, AND you had Cole laffing like a hyena every time he did something.

To give a more recent example, The Bunny deserves an honorable mention for being so unlikable that Kane actually got cheered against him.
