so there has been at least 2 instances now where WWE has sent comment to Pwinsider, there's also the conference calls Trips does about NXT where he invites all the dirtsheet writers to take part.
When did WWE get rid of their "we don't cooperate or talk to the dirtsheets in any way" policy that they had since going public in 2000?

I'm not sure but I get a feeling it was a Triple H call.

Real life backstage stuff is the only kayfabe now, I think they're the reason some people still follow wrestling, especially with the CM Punk thing, and why they push Roman Reigns over other people.

Because they finally realized mainstream media doesn't give 2 shits about them, so they might as well invite people who actually care?

Seeing as they only say good things about him lately, I can see why Trips would want them around.

I'm not sure but I get a feeling it was a Triple H call. Yeah, it started with the opening of the Performance Center. He invited PWInsider, F4W/WO, Bill Apter, Jason Powell and one or two others to the grand opening, did interviews and gave them tours, a few others have standing invitations to tour it. He wants to have a professional relationship with them because it will be better for WWE when it comes to newz sites making crap up or in cases like the Punk suit if they can go to them and get their side out. Plus as he said, kayfabe is dead and there is no excuse for acting like they don't exist.

Well, let's be fair, besides the Florida press and people interested in stocks, who else is going to talk about WWE?
It's not like it's new, either. The wrestling press has been invited to WrestleMania since forever.
