N64 was my personal favourite. The hours my friends and I spent playing Goldeneye, Mario Kart, Zelda, all the AKI wrestling games, Perfect Dark and any other of the games we had is staggering.

PS2, easily. The reverse-compatibility went a long way, as well as DVD playability without any extra adapters.

I have a soft spot in my heart for the Nintendo 64, but for me, the SNES is where it's at!
Super Mario World, Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past, Super Mario Kart, Street Fighter II Turbo, Super Metroid, Donkey Kong Country, Mortal Kombat II, Star Fox, F-Zero, Tetris Attack, the list goes on and on.
EDIT: The only bad experience I can remember with the SNES was with Zelda. I think I broke somewhere around twelve controllers with that game! Had a blast, though...

What? No Sega Saturn? We won't even discuss the Virtual Boy lol.. Anywho, my vote goes for the N64.

The Atari 5200 was a GREAT system. Indeed. I own one each of almost all Atari systems, even the Jaguar and an Atari computer.

PS2, but I miss my old Colecovision. Would you believe that Coleco stood for Connetitcut eather Company? They honestly used to be a leather company.

The N64 may have had some great games, but had a crap load of stinkers too. I voted PS1, because that was the first SUCCESSFUL system to have a disc format(besides PCs), it had a better controller than the 64(in my opinion), and introduced saving to memory cards.
Plus, it had Oddworld, Metal Gear Solid, Resident Evil, Silent Hill, Crash Bandicoot, Spyro the Dragon, Twisted Metal, Final Fantasy 7-9, Dragon Quest, Rayman, Crash Team Racing, etc.

i voted playstation...the original one....with super nintendo in a close second. playstation just had too many good games for me to vote anything else....and it kinda came out of nowhere to put sony in the lead with consoles.
that and it's more fun to say than super nintendo.

Dreamcast. I can play NES, Sega Genesis & Super NES games on it. Also, first system to be able to go online, and first system (to my knowledge) to have a keyboard and a memory card you can play with without the system.

I'll say the Super Nintendo. Sega Dreamcast's great, as is the NES and both Playstations, but I prefer the Super Nintendo. It's list of games is AMAZING: Final Fantasy II and III, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, The Secret of Mana, Super Ghouls and Ghosts, Super Metroid, Donkey Kong Country, F-Zero, Star Fox, The Star Wars Trilogy, Street Fighter II, Super Mario World, and on and on.
