This is a batshit crazy hypothetical that for the record I do not believe will happen in this or any closely similar parallel universe. That said, it was something I spent a few minutes thinking about this afternoon while reading the latest "newz" concerning Lesnar possibly walking out of Raw because my mind wanders like that...
Now, that qualifier out of the way, what if Lesnar double crosses Vince/Reigns and then takes the WWE title with him to the UFC (although he doesn't have to take the actual physical belt, because that would be lawsuit city, just have him use a replica or something)? Does that "fake" title make him more of a PPV draw to Dana? White has shown signs of desperation with signing Punk when IMO a few years ago when UFC was white hot he never would have done given Punk's lack of experience/amateur ability.
That said,is Lesnar more of a draw to the UFC as the "unbeaten" WWE champ, or would UFC fans (mostly the all important casual ones who tip the balance with PPV buys) totally not care at all since, after all, the WWE title is pretty much a punchline to UFC fans, and rightfully so in some ways since of course, it is a worked title.
I guess my basic question is this: for Dana White is Brock Lesnar worth even a penny more going to UFC if he is still the WWE champion versus him doing business the right way and dropping the title to Reigns?

Then they build up (figuratively and literally, he gains like 40 pounds) Punk to dethrone Lesnar and defend the honor of WWE!
By the time we get to Lesnar vs. Punk, UFC's PPV buyrates are at TNA levels.

Brock's wins over Undertaker and John Cena, as well as being WWE champion earns him a title unification match against Fabricio Werdum. Brock loses at 4:59 of the first round due to triangle choke, making Werdum the first fighter to hold the WWE world title and UFC heavyweight title(intern title but whatevs) at the same time. All hail our new troll overlord.

He hands it directly to Punk so Punk can do horrible things to it and shoot on WWE some more.

Dana books Brock vs a suspiciously heavy-looking CM Punk in a fight for the WWE Championship. Punk pokes Brock in the chest, and the ref rules it a TKO while Punk, Brock, and Dana celebrate over all the money and PPV buys they made that night.

He should take it to TNA and Challenge Lashley in the Octagon to determine the real world's champion. Have it co-promoted by UFC, Ballator, and TNA. Everyone makes bank except Vince. TNA becomes the king of Sports Entertainment.

I was in a play where my character was a scientist, and I stole the lab coat from the costume shop, and now I have tenure at MIT.

The only way Punk is gaining 40 pounds that isn't 40 pounds of pure lard is if he starts eating Dbol, the breakfast of champions.

Nothing would of happen because if Brock did double cross the WWE by doing a shoot he most likely wouldn't be able to take it to the UFC because Vince and HHH would be doing their best to sue the living daylights out of him for breaching his contract and pretty much ruining their biggest show of the year. That and I'm sure Dana White wouldn't be stupid to use the title to promote Brock being back the UFC because using a fake title from a fake sport would look massively stupid in a real life combat sport such as MMA.
That the only way how dropping the title at WM would effect his worth the UFC would be if Reigns decides to legit shoot on Lesnar for real and by some miracle somehow actual pulls off beating Brock this way without getting his face smashed into a bloody pulp.

Win or lose, after Brock's first REAL fight back in MMA ... Seth Rollins cashes in and brings the title back to WWE to the biggest babyface pop ever.

What if Brock took the belt.....and dominated UFC? But then John Cena followed him, gave the AA to the entire roster, celebrated... but then HHH came out, Pedigreed him, pinned him and told the UFC "I love this business"... but then Daniel Bryan came out, pinned him, and...and... ...kicks out...
