There really isn't anything you won't start a thread about is there, KAMALARAMBO? =P Haha, I'm kind of surprised this thread has gotten this many responses in such little time. Although a lot seem to be about how stupid wrestlers court is.

I can see the 'court' being something implemented in the mid to late 90s and continuing until a newer crowd of younger guys came along and the older guys aren't around as much or have non-wrestling roles.
I cannot see a true great like Bruno or Bret or the biggest names like Hogan, Rock or Austin lowering themselves to a Bob Holly or Justin Hawk Bradshaw role holding 'pseudo court'. Even in hearing Undertaker taking part lowers my opinion of him but I guess it's expected considering how protective he is of his "dead man" character despite anyone in the right mind realizing he's not truly "dead." I can see a protection of the business or kayfabe prior to the 90s but I see the court as something coming about around the time of the attitude era.

I'm guessing a lot of people here haven't been part of a sports team, no offence intended. Kangaroo court is just a fun thing that goes on in most locker rooms. Happened on my university rugby team for instance. You f***ed up, you get called on it.

Just a bunch of people messing around and having fun, they are on the road so much I am sure they get bored, so what big deal? I dont think people frequenting wrestling oriented web forums have room to judge to be fair I can judge, I've never bullied anybody

Yeah, pretty much any group of people ever who spend a lot of time with each other develop in-jokes which look lame from the outside.

They should make Wrestler's Court a show, like Judge Judy.

They should make Wrestler's Court a show, like Judge Judy. I hope so too....the sight of seeing someone like Undertaker or another veteran donning the role of "judge" over petty acts committed by other wrestlers would be a sight to watch, especially the punishments when someone is found guilty of the "crime" Hell, you could bring back Teddy Long as a bailiff so he could say "And you playa, get to go one-on-one....WITH DA JUDGE!!! Holla Holla!!"

- Was consulted to be a "defense attorney" for the Divas in a Wrestlers' Court over the Divas legitimately losing to the Diva Search girls in dodgeball. Triple H opted to be the judge when it was always Undertaker's role (this sounds silly as all hell). Sean Morely was the prosecuting attorney, the divas' defense was it was a work, the guys weren't having it, apparently Triple H made a point to keep telling her he heard enough and she should stop talking throughout her defense. They attempted to bribe Triple H with a gift certificate to the Red Roof Inn which they thought was funny because Triple H usually stayed in higher quality hotels. It's an amusing story but it doesn't really come off as a "get a load of this asshole" kind of thing. What a bunch of f***ing losers. That last sentence correlates quite well with your Tony Schiavone avatar I must say.

If wrestling court is still around, then Zack Ryder must have gotten a lifetime jobbing sentence.

Ivory's story about guys getting all pissy over the diva dodgeball makes the whole Wrestler's Court thing sound even more straight up retarded. Also I did like in the same shoot how she pointed out how hypocritical JBL was with the whole respect the business crap she as said that he would hurt indie workers in non televised tryouts because he could get away with it yet when Brock came long he did nothing but kiss his arse even though never paid his dues etc.
Over the years I've grown to quite like Ivory as she seems to have a good head on her shoulders.

Her destroying JBL in that shoot was amazing. Every single thing that everyone hates about him as a person was revealed and mocked for how ridiculous it is.

I'm guessing a lot of people here haven't been part of a sports team, no offence intended. Kangaroo court is just a fun thing that goes on in most locker rooms. Happened on my university rugby team for instance. You f***ed up, you get called on it. My high school football team did as well. It was only used when the coach wasn't around and team rules were broken. ACTUAL team rules. Not made up rules that guys considered "team leaders" thought should be put into place so that they can make themselves feel superior to everyone else. Guys are getting punished in Wrestler's court because they're getting pushes that the whiny assholes backstage feel they haven't earned. The company says they've earned it, but because JBL, Benoit, and Bob Holly said they didn't, then they must be punished. F*** what the company itself thinks. Hassan and Daivari, for instance. Hassan and Daivari were having segments with Shawn Michaels and Hulk Hogan because of how over they were as heels. However, because they hadn't been on the main roster for long, the "Locker room leaders" feel like they haven't earned that spot and have taken it away from others. Even though they have no control over how the company books them, they must be humiliated because well....f*** em. That's why. Bring on Judge Taker!!!That's essentially how "Wrestler's Court" has been used in WWE. It's a way for guys who've never had any significance in the company and who've never mentally left their fraternities make themselves feel important and get in the good graces of Undertaker, HHH, and hopefully, the company. And, not to mention, considering what we know now about how guys like Chris Benoit, Bob Holly, and JBL, these are NOT the guys who should be telling others how to act. I mean, should a guy like JBL who intentionally injured some guy getting a dark match tryout be enforcing so-called "Locker room rules?"

If you believe Bob Holly then all you have to do is punch JBL in the face and he'll leave you alone. JBL, according to Bob Holly, loves and wants to fight so he hates when people cower away from him(similar to Vince apparently). Hassan is a talent I felt bad for. He had a great gimmick, great heat, and was an amazing heel who could've went far had the WWE just continued with his momentum and not been afraid of backlash.

Wrestler's Court sounds a lot more innocuous to me than some of the hazing related stuff I've read about. Besides, I like to imagine HHH and Taker at the very least had on powdered wigs and gavels, which would automatically justify it.
