One thing wrestling promoters need to have instilled in their brains: never f*** with Brock Lesnar's money.

So was there even a resolution to that story of Brock not being on Raw? Or is this it? Most agree it has to do with the newest deal they've offered him. He didn't like it apparently. Kind of embarrassing for WWE.

If they f*** it up like they've f***** up everything else they've done business wise as of late, then yes, you'll be right on the money in saying that it's embarrassing.

He now has to work double the dates, which means he now works 6 times a year. In all seriousness, though, it's not a smart move to piss off a guy like Lesnar by offering him a bad contract when he's your headline attraction at the biggest show of the year and he's your champion. I'd offer him whatever he wanted because if he goes back to UFC, he's going to be a giant draw and - although - they're not competition, it's not a great idea to let a guy like Lesnar go when he still has so much to offer your product.

Damn must be nice being Brock Lesnar, everybody wants him for their company so bad and he's even been given the Undertaker's Streakbreaker push as well as the top belt in all of pro-wrestling, plus he can get away with going to UFC and having a ball there since JBL/Heyman practically loudspeaker the fact that he used to hold the UFC Heavyweight Championship everytime he shows up for a live appearance.
The guy is arguably bigger than Hogan was during his era.

Brock won't face any repercussions for this. It would make him more likely to leave because going to UFC events is probably something he'll want to do regardless of his deal.
I could also say that it would make no sense because WWE apparently doesn't see UFC as competition but, we all know that's a load.

He was also backstage with fighters before they walked out: What does that mean? Probably nothing but, there you go. Just for the sake of context, Tony Ferguson(dude getting hugged) was in Lesnar's team on The Ultimate Fighter 13 and trained at the same gym as him until it shut down. Contrary to popular belief, Brock doesn't hate everything. Just most things.

What a morale boost that's gotta be. When Brock ****ing Lesnar shows up to say, "I'm here for you, man. You got this."
Granted, the unspoken bit of that was "...and you'd BETTER get this, or else you're gonna have to deal with me when you come back through that curtain. And which would you rather have? Proud Lesnar? Or ANGRY Lesnar?"
Proud Lesnar!

Is there some sort of clause in the contracts that state they can't attend any other type of sporting event, or something? This is such a non story, it's ridiculous. He went to the UFC show. Big whoop. Wait. Was having Brock end the streak *punishment* for Undertaker attending so many UFC shows? Get me Raja on the phone! I've got a hot tip!

On one hand, I don't see anything wrong with Brock weighing his options and if being at a UFC show means he's doing that, there's nothing that "OMG" about it. On the other hand, offering your current champion a shitty deal and causing him to leave a scheduled appearance makes WWE look both stupid and short-sighted. Why upset one of the main attractions to the biggest show of the year when they've already had a fairly big controversy? It's just bad business for the sake of saving a couple of dollars on a deal.

I was always under the impression he'd be leaving no matter what. Well, unless Vince offered him something so ludicrous that he'd be stupid to pay Brock that much to re-sign, like in the neighborhood of 50 Million or more for one year of 3 PPV matches and 6 Raw appearances.

Brock has WWE by the balls, and he's right to do so.
I'd like to see more people in wrestling who aren't marks for the "diz bizniz!" shit.
