I stopped f***ing with Hopsin after he pulled that "prank" where he pretended to leave rap forever only for it to be a ruse to promote his new project. Dude's a complete cornball. And speaking of corny... (jk) For those of ya'll that haven't been paying attention, the poster boy for frat white boy rappers, Mac Miller, looks to be gearing up for a new album and has been dropping off some songs from it. Here's the latest, "Break the Law." Not gonna lie, I'm digging this track. www.audiomack.com/song/fashionably-early/break-the-law*Language Warning*I have this on a loop on my player/phone now. Hot stuff. Agreed. Between that and 100 Grandkids ( www.audiomack.com/song/rapxclusive/100-grandkids ), this is the most I've ever enjoyed Mac's stuff.

I really hope that he is parody or satire, because rap really needs to get away from the money, weed, making it rain, strapping up, "I watched Scarface too many times" trope. Surely someone new can break through into the mainstream(or at least semi-mainstream) with something fresh. There's a handful of people out there fighting the good fight, but goddamn do some of these cats need some new material.

Viper is too goofy and stupid for me to be offended by. I don't flat out dislike him, but to me he's a troll rapper.

Viper is 100% self aware. He's in real estate, which is where he made all of his money, and he does rap on the side.
Also, all of his vocals are pitch-shifted and altered to sound the way they do. There are videos of him performing live, and he sounds entirely different.

BTW, don't think I mentioned this in here but I went to a J.Cole concert a few weeks ago. Shit was live. If you ever have the chance to go see him, do it. So much charisma.
f*** Riverbend Music Center though. That place sucks.

Just noticed that today's the ten year anniversary of Kanye's "Late Registration." That album is still incredible all these years later

Had anyone seen or heard of the Murder Rap documentary, from former LAPD detective Greg Kading about his investigations into the murders of Tupac and Biggie? I'd just watched it early this morning, and it was pretty interesting.
I’ve already read the book, so I know the conclusions he came to, but the whole story is fascinating stuff regardless.
