I'm just wondering if anybody knew the current state of the independent wrestling scene in North Platte, Nebraska in 2015. We all know that somewhere around 1997 it was thriving, despite the misgivings and indifference of a certain Santa Claus, but it seems like it sort of got lost in the shuffle of the big wrestling boom of the 90's and lost it's place among hallowed wrestling cities like Reseda, Philadelphia and the WXS Bunker.
So anyway, can any Nebraskans help? What's it like over there at the minute?

Are you saying there used to be independent wrestling going on less than an hour away from where I used to live?
Why does nobody tell me these things!?

North Platte? home of Buffalo Bob's Trading Post? Man, they'd have these big shows out in North Platte. There'd be wrestlers you'll have never heard of, and wrestlers you hadn't seen in years.

Come on, everybody knows nobody actually lives in states like Nebraska. They were just created by the US government to create a kind of "buffer zone" between the East and West Coasts to protect them in case of a Soviet invasion during the Cold War.
