* Big Show is out next to huge heel heat. Ryback comes out to not much better and we have a match. Fans start with CM Punk chants. This match is not wanted at all it seems. Ryback tried getting a "feed me more" chant going at one point but the crowd responded with CM Punk chants. They go to chanting for Blue Pants again. The highlight of this match is the chants easily - "NXT" and "please retire" chants at Big Show, also "we want Divas." Ryback ended up getting win with Shellshocked. Very interesting match here, the crowd made it. source..Wrestlinginc.com It is so strange that he wrote that the crowd made the match when the way he wrote it the crowd sounds horrendous. If this is true, and I am always iffy on reports like this they are wrong on crowd reactions a lot, Ryback deserves a lot better.

The Ryback/Big Show match was booked ironically.
Hunter REALLY gets it.

EDIT - I missed the part about this being in Ohio... The fact they didn't give Ryback a good reaction tells you something. The consensus from my perspective is people like Ryback from smarks to marks. Sure he isn't a great technical wrestler because that isn't his role. What he does do is be very good hoss. We've seen him fight Sheamus and it was well recived on here before. Back to the point. They need to leave full sail in late 2015 and tape around the east coast and see what is actually well received and what isn't. The Florida crowd is lively and all but they are abrasive dicks to be honest. These people think it's funny with what they do. It's 50/50 for that crowd they are really great at times on when to respond and then they go and be dicKs/annoying at times. I'm of the age demographic that attend this show and if I saw Ryback that closely with the place being small I would have been marking out chanting FEED ME MORE. Just my thought on thIs. So...The crowd are dicks because they don't like Ryback? The dude that comes out to crickets regularly on RAW until people remember he has a chant?

They like chanting stuff but won't chant for the guy who actually has one.

So, I'm the only one catching onto the idea that this match was put on the card solely to get booed.
That they put this match on the show for teh lulz.

Do find it weird they'd boo Ryback, typically smarky towns like him. Then again he is still one of the more un-NXT guys on the roster.

They come off as dicks because "OH NO VINCE MCMAHON'S THING EWWWWWW" They would have booed Kofi and Xavier even though they are from the revamped NXT that we have now because of the shitty gimmick they have now. Keep in mind I posted that when I wasn't aware where this was being taped.

I think some fans are hating Ryback because of the Punk podcast.
I don't agree with it, but that's what is going on.

It's a really small segment of fans that for one, can't spell because I see the hate on Youtube comments and poorly structured tweets. If there was resentment it would have shown with the smarky towns they have been too since January but it doesn't hes stays relatively over with his catchphrase.

This comes back to the whole WWE is enamored with splitting crowds and watching those crowds each other alive over what and who they like.

Yeah, I'm personally seeing it as more of a "Get your dumb WWE out of my NXT" kind of thing. That kind of sentiment definitely exists in a world where people are begging wrestlers to stay in developmental for fear of them not being booked good on the main roster. (Funny thing is, this is the most heat from a crowd that Big Show has had in years )

They should have used Roman Reigns instead of Ryback.
That would have glorious.

Yes I know they have/had NXT pushes but they are no more or less WWE than Ryback or Big Show

You've got a point there, I just don't really see the issue with NXT crowds not wanting to see dudes like Ryback and Big Show down there that don't really fit the style at all, not even considering how much Ryback's overness has died down since his initial return. Also, I don't blame you on that last thing. I'm so used to NXT being this magical workrate grotto in Florida that them being in any other place messes with my reality.

Yeah, but all three proved their worth to this type of crowd back at Full Sail. Even Riley is kind of doing that with this angle with Owens. And... um... um... (Can't believe I'm going to use this gif again)
