Lesnar may never have beaten Austin 1 on 1, but I am having a hard time thinking of anyone booked to be so strong. He's absurd videogame boss strong.
I guess I should enjoy the last 3 weeks of that.

Its the best thing ever. Also would Austin or Rock have allowed themselves to have been beaten as easily and comprehensively as Lesnar destroyed Cena at Summerslam?

I thought this was a thread about the a guy beating all the top guys at any given time and place I was gonna make a case for Adrian Neville beating Bo,Zayn,Kidd and Tyler Breeze

It worked so well with Cena because he's been on top and completely dominant for 10 years and half the fanbase absolutely hates him. It was lightning in a bottle.

No top babyface should ever be crushed so decisively as Cena was. The entire match defied basic logic. We're talking about a man who had a previous victory over Lesnar here. The fact that Cena just got demolished to me means that he had zero strategy going in and gives credence to anyone shouting "You can't wrestle!"

The Rock beat all 4 of the men listed, three of them he beat at a Wrestlemania. During his teenage days, I am sure he beat himself plenty of times.

Well obviously because Cena's not an all time great like HHH who managed to beat Brock at mania. -WWE Creative

The previous victory over Lesnar went basically the exact same way, including Brock having a pin on him after the F5 at a point but the ref was down, except Lesnar got cocky at the end and Cena got in a lucky hit to steal it. It's a consistent thing in every match they've had since Brock came back - as good as Cena is, Lesnar just plain has his number. That kind of thing can happen regardless of how good somebody is most of the time.

Savio Vega has beaten The Rock, Stone Cold and Triple H. He'd have beat Hogan and Cena if he'd had the chance! If only he could have faced them as Terry Boulder and The Prototype.

Think about the previous Cena/Lesnar match though. You can book a match that way if the idea is that the babyface makes a comeback to win. They were trying for a Sting/Vader GAB 1992 match here but Sting wasn't a hopeless victim there. He got beaten down eventually but got in offense against Vader and several near falls.
I'm still wrapping my head around this long term booking, especially if Brock bolts after WM. If Lesnar leaves they would have ended The Streak and had him destroy Cena....to what end? The idea that Reigns will become a star by beating Lesnar? We already know that storyline is tanking to the point of people begging for the Rollins cash in.

Angle tapped out Austin, Hogan, Cena and pinned Rock. Taker pinned Hogan, Austin, Cena and beat Rock in a casket match. Triple Haitch pinned them all. Who else did it? Brock and Jericho beat 3 of them. Taker pinned Rock a couple of times. Offhand, a Raw in 98, King of the Ring 99, and either a Raw or Smackdown in 2000.
