Next Head Trainer from NXT, returning from retirement. Chris Benoit. Zombie Benoit's arm keeps falling off when he tries to show them a hammerlock.

HHH dies on screen after Sting cracks his skull and he becomes trainer. His rant about selling punches on Tough Enough was his practice.

Have never liked the guy, brilliant news! Get someone who isn't a bully, actually done something of note in their career, is known to have good people skills in as head trainer and NXT just became even better than it was before Edge and Christian said it best.... "Hugh Suck"

The day trainers start training wrestlers with dignity and some respect is a very dark day in pro wrestling. I demand humiliation and scorn to weed out the guys who were probably not gonna make it anyway due to the brutal working schedule.
You guys think John Cena got to where he is by encouragement? He had to wear high heels, a tutu and a tube top while doing wind sprints in front of a grade school to get where he is today.

How about hiring a trainer that was a top guy in their ring career and not a jobber like Demott? Lance Storm was far from a top guy, but is currently considered to have one of, if not the number 1, school in North America. Stardom doesn't equal coaching ability Storm is also a great all round athlete who worked all over the US, Japan, and Mexico, so he has a greater amount of knowledge of different styles and knows what makes a good coach.

I remember reading once that Storm did a standing vertical leap completely over Khali, with no aid or stand or anything.

Not to mention that Lance Storm was always respected as a really good and safe worker. Hugh Morrus was always thought of as a piss break.

There is a difference between being able to do something and being able to teach it.
Bill Belichick played football at a small, low-level college and didn't play in the NFL -- yet he's arguably the best coach of his generation.
I don't think Angelo Dundee ever had a professional fight, yet he trained Muhammad Ali and Sugar Ray Leonard and lots of other champions. One of the greatest ever.
Jose Lothario wasn't a superstar, but he trained Shawn MIchaels. Hiro Matsuda trained Hulk Hogan, Lex Luger, Scott Hall, Ron Simmons and Paul Orndorf, but he was hardly an all-time great.
One has nothing to do with the other.

It was long overdue, but it's about time DeMott left.

Regal. I know he has an on-air role with NXT, but for the love of god, Regal I think Regal prefers his current role of talent scout and setting up and running the tryouts. I see Lance Storm's name thrown out there, and while he's a great trainer, he has already said he prefers working on his own schedule rather than WWE's (he finds it better to train everybody on the same level rather than trying to catch a rookie up with the others). As for DeMott, well guys like Joey Ryan and Trent? started to bring up other stories of other indy wrestlers being mistreated in tryouts so that did him no favors.
