Best: Warrior Vs Savage (Wrestlemania 7), might just be my favorite match of all time. Worst: Take your pick, any match at Wrestlemania 2, minus Hogan vs Bundy and the tag team title match. Wait, the worse match at WM 2 was Piper Vs Mr. T. That is my pick of the worst match at Wrestlemania. Piper Vs Mr. T. Whilst I agree WM2 was not a great Wrestlemania, I think there were quite a few entertaining matches in amongst the "where's the beef" disjointed mess of a show. You mention Bundy v Hogan and the Bulldogs v Dream Team, but it also had the 20man Battle Royal with NFL players, a nice little match between the Funks & JYD/Santana, Steamboat v Hercules and Savage v Steele that I quite enjoyed for different reasons. There is a lot of dross on that show, but ironically it actually has more decent-good matches on the card than WM1 that most recognise as a better show. That said, it also has more bad - awful matches as well.... Back on topic, I can't see past Undertaker vs HBK at WM25 for the best match. Worst I will go with Hacksaw Jim Duggan vs Bad News Brown at WM5. Even Gorilla and Jesse dump all over this match and you get the added bonus of a giant Hacksaw booger hanging from his nose at the end. I understand what you are saying, but most of the matches were too short. I never liked Battle Royals so I did not like it, it had NFL players in it who I had no idea who they were. The IC title match was too short for me to enjoy, Funks Vs JYD and Santana was not bad. Maybe, I was being too hard on the event. It was the second Wrestlemania and the WWF still did not find its identity for Wrestlemaia yet, WM 3 was when they started to give it an identity. However, I still stand by my choice of the worst match in Wrestlemania history. Mr. T Vs Piper in a boxing match was the longest match on the card and it was the worse match on the card, that is saying a lot because Adrian Adonis Vs Uncle Elmer was also on the card.

Random note, I think I'm the only one who prefers the Undertaker/HBK rematch at WM XXVI.

Surprised no one went with Savage vs Steamboat not my best but still surprised it hasn't even been mentioned It's my favorite. I'm going with Steamboat vs. Savage as the best. From the promos to the back and forth action of the match itself, I think it was excellent. Since I've never seen the Miller catfight and don't care to, I'm going to go with Bryan/Sheamus as the worst due to the wasted potential.

Yea it for sure is one of the best ever that's why I was surprised to see more macho warrior than macho steamboat it changed everything after that match people knew it didn't need to be the main event for it to be a big moment at wrestlemania you can steal the show on the undercard and they were first

Worst: Kane vs Khali was dogshit 10 minutes of torture just so Kane can slam Khali. Not worth it. (Put it this way, Melina vs. Ashley later on was better...and much shorter.) Chalk that one for me, too. Best was Bret vs. Austin at 13. Sounded better in person.

Best- Ric Flair v Randy Savage at Wrestlemania 8, just a beautiful match
Worst- Jake Roberts v Rick Rude at Wrestlemania 4, never has a match which promised so much delivered absolutely nothing.

Best - (While the match doesn't mean anything anymore) Flair/HBK WM XXIV "DAMN YOU FLAIR!!!"
Worst - Cole/King (Horrible painful dragged out match, Austin as an enforcer, everything is in the babyface's favor, and the heel still wins with a complete f*** finish...no...just no!

Steamboat Savage Wrestlemania III. Just a great match that set the WWE standard for years. Today when you can see matches this good every Raw its taken for granted but then it was a revelation.
Andre Hogan Wrestlemania IV what a short waste of a match. A double DQ that is Ss stupid as any you will ever see that ended with Hogan celebrating for an absurdly long time after loseing a chance to re win his title. This is what real bad booking looks like.

Heh. It's amazing the Best WM Matches will either have Bret, Macho or HBK in some fashion. My faves because I just can't pick just one: Hart/Austin WM 13 TLC II WM X-7 Bret/Owen WM X Savage/Warrior WM VII HBK/Angle WM 21 Hogan/Savage WM V
Worst-Lawler/Cole, this was SO SIMPLE, but because this is curret WWE they botched it. The Match should have been: Bell ring, Jerry piledrives Cole, 1-2-3, Cole gets taken out, everbody's happy.

Taker/HBK @ WM 25 is about as perfect of a WWE match as we're likely to see. Worst: probably the lingerie pillow fight or something Not sure if this is the pillow fight you're referring to (which in itself is a damn depressing sentence), but you've just caused me to remember that they devoted a pretty significant amount of time on their biggest show of the year to two women who even six months later would mean nothing to no one. Plus even though the Super Bowl airs all over the world, the commercials don't air outside of the US and Canada so they would have literally meant nothing to the international audience anyway. Ugh. Anyway, BEST: Taker vs HBK WM25, an obvious choice but it's the one wrestling match my Dad watched with me and rather than mocking it start to finish, actually got drawn in and turned to me at the end and said 'that was really good.' It's the ultimate storytelling match that you don't have to know a thing about wrestling to appreciate. WORST: Bret vs Backlund I Quit match, WM11. To me, there's no question as to which Mania is the worst. 11 has basically no redeeming features from a wrestling standpoint. This is the would-be workhorse match and it's dire. When Bret Hart is actually able to publicly admit he had a terrible match, you know it must suck.

Best: Angle vs. HBK Actual comment heard in a bar the following night, since they were just coming in, I assume sober, "Angle vs. Michaels was shit, but Big Show vs. Akebono was f***ing awesome!!" Goes to show, different strokes... Worst: Heenan vs. Red Rooster Why not? It was a nothing match. I watched Mania 21 in a bar we had on my college campus, and there was this kid behind me just shitting all over HBK vs. Angle as it was happening. The end with Micahels flailing desperately in the ankle lock, he was just like "GOD ENOUGH ALREADY THIS IS SO STUPID". And yes, he absolutely loved Big Show vs. Akebono. As for my answers, Best: Rock vs. Austin from WrestleMania X7 Worst: Lawler vs. Cole
