It's not remotely wrestling related, actually, and is about a teen who can "pilot" a giant being that fights huge monsters. Looked pretty neat, and it's actually made by one of my favorite creators, but I haven't watched it.

Never seen/read them, but own his live-action film Fist of Thunder. It's pretty much The Guyver with wrestling.

Nice animation and rockin theme but it doesn't even look like him. When he first started out, Liger's costume did closely resemble the original's outfit, but I think he changed when the 90's began.

The intro is pretty sick, it's a bear trying to find episodes. Same with the Tiger Mask anime.

From what I've been told, it's basically a monster-of-the-week mecha anime like most of Go Nagai's mecha work (think Voltron, but without the combining).

I saw the Jushin Liger movie. Haven't been able to find it since it aired in the graveyard slot here in Australia about 10 years ago though.

A bit of info: Jushin "Thunder" Liger is the Powered Up form of Jushin Liger. Using that logic, Liger is always at full power.

Nice animation and rockin theme but it doesn't even look like him. Here's an earlier version of Liger's outfit that's a little closer to the anime.
