R-Truth has been amazing in it.
That's all I got.

It's a storyline for kids. Unfortunately, it's a storyline for kids that involves their secondary title and that builds up what should be the main match on the midcard at the biggest show of the year.
Triple H is not booking this, this is Vince's hollywood writers and yes men. I can't wait until they all bite the dust.

I have no problem with the concept.
I have a problem with R-Truth being in it when he hasn't been relevant in 4 years.

I have no problem with the concept. I have a problem with R-Truth being in it when he hasn't been relevant in 4 years. This. Bryan, Ziggler, Ambrose, and to a lesser extent Barrett (he hasn't been relevant in forever either, but he carries himself like a star) could do big things with that belt, but R-Truth's very presence just negates all of that. While R-Truth isn't a straight up jobber like Ryder or someone like that, at least you could make a "Cinderella Story" out of a pure jobber. If WWE treated Truth the same way they treat the likes of Sheamus and Miz where they still sorta kinda pretend he's still "important", there would be no problem with him being in the match, but Truth is just too "midcard-y" for this match and only serves to drag down the other people in it rather than him being pushed up to their level. I think the fans would resent the idea of Bryan, Ziggler and Ambrose chasing the midcard title a whole lot less, if Truth were removed from the match and replaced with a "name" talent like Sheamus or Ryback.

The build has actually gotten me to care about R-Truth, so I personally don't see it as being completely stupid.

The crazy thing is, because of Lesnar, Sting and Undertaker being absent and leaving the buildup to those matches to mostly promos, it's actually getting quite a lot of TV time devoted to it... probably the most that anything IC Championship related has gotten in a long time.

R-Truth has been wildly entertaining, and the eventual match is going to be great, so being that I'm not a jive turkey, I'm really enjoying it.

This is going to be a corrupt-a wish kind of thing. The consensus is this match will be awesome then when the show comes it under-delivers while Wyatt/Taker doesn't.

R-Truth has shown in the past that he's more than capable of holding it down (pimp squad baby), so that's no shock to me. And if we're being honest the only person in the match who isn't a lame duck is Bryan. CON-Spiracy Heel Truth I'd be down for. Current face Truth, not so much. Yeah, Ambrose loses a lot, but WWE still presents him as a "top level" talent. Ziggler's been handled badly, but again, he's still presented and viewed as a "top" talent even if they won't go all the way with him. Barrett is lame, but he's the champion so he kinda has to be here by default Harper is on the same level as Truth, but he at least has his size to get by on

It's dumb, but I'm really getting a kick out of R-Truth's antics. I have to admit, though, that his involvement in and addition to this match does feel weird given that he's been irrelevant for the longest time. Perhaps WWE is better at storytelling than we give them credit for and that will end up being symbolic of the IC title becoming relevant after such a long time of being the exact opposite. I'm hopeful that Bryan's involvement is a sign that they're truly elevating the IC title and will make it a major focal point of their shows, but I can't help but fear that it's actually just their way of trying to demote him and lower his status, and that it'll be business as usual for that title and whichever sad sack is IC champion coming out of 'Mania.

As funny as R-Truth is, this buildup has been ass backwards. Now the beginning was that Dean wanted a shot, BNB said no, Dean beat former IC Champs, BNB still said NO. Dean handcuffs Wade & forces him to sign. Smart heel logic/booking would be Wade uses legal mean to get out match to drag this out to WM31. But f*** THAT have the match. Dean gets DQ but steals the belt. The announcers: "Ha ha, it looks like Bad News for Wade!" Of course this is a heel tatic(see Express, Midnight & Anderson, Arn) but this is WWE f*** you & logic. Now Wade rightfully pissed over this loses to guys who had nothing to do with this via distractions but hey, they now deserve championship opportunities(Because screw Dean y'know, beating people)! And hey Luke Harper? LOST to Dean, but give him a shot. And now the other guys are also stealing the belt. Announcers: "Welp he has the belt, he's the champ!" And now ladder match(Why?) So now Wade has to get his belt back, defend it against multiple foes in a ladder match and he's the heel?

Take the 5/6 least entertaining guys in the company and stick them in one angle so people know when to change the channel.
That's just good business.

I could see if this was Smackdown: Know Your Role back on the Playstation where someone could attack you backstage, steal your title and somehow the game acknowledges them as the new champion (**** you Rikishi) Eventually I got savvy enough to know when it was coming, so I'd always lose the match on purpose so my reign would continue.

I like the angle so far. Kinda reminds me that wrestling is supposed to be fun instead of business suits, "insider lingo" and John Cena scowling.

I find it fun. Kind of like the hardcore title minus the concussions.

What a world we live in with John Cena and Daniel Bryan in midcard title matches.

I see it like "here's the match with all these people that people like but Vince isn't really in to. and we put in Truth to make Vince laugh."
