Looking back, did they ever really explain on air what they meant by "End of an Era" in the build up to HHH vs. Undertaker at Wrestlemania 28? It wasn't like it was the last time we'd see any of the three guys involved (including HBK) ever again.

I think it basically was just them saying this would be the last "Attitude" Era stars match. I can't really think of another since?

We've also had Kane and Show I believe when Show was face then they teamed together against Golddust and his nonattitude brother, who also had fought the New Age Outlaws. And if Nash's quad's could hold he'd probably be throwing Daniel Bryan around until Kane and or Show turns face to save him setting up another Trips/Vince dream ppv main event where somebody useless upstages the day to day workers. They just wanted a tagline to get people to care about a match they had no reason too care about seeing again.

They meant it was the last time you'd see Triple H with long hair at Wrestlemania.

If Kane has wrestled Big Show, then I'm wrong, but I'm taking technically right points since no one cares. Also, I know Attitude Era wrestlers still wrestle, but not all exclusively in the same match. Also, Sting doesn't count, because while active in the era, it's a giant stretch to call him apart of it since he wasn't in the company. Your last sentence is 100% correct however.

I really don't understand why they use these bullshit taglines for matches that are interesting enough on their own. I personally would've still bought WrestleMania 28 for Undertaker vs. HHH and Rock vs. Cena without "End of an Era" or "Once in a Lifetime" attached to them.
